Where is the best princess dining experience?

My friend is taking her 6 yr old daughter to Disney World. She wants to know which is the best place for princess dining. We have done all 3...1900 Park Fare, Askurs in Epocot in Norway and Cinderella's Royal table. Which do you think is best and why?

Our family loves going to Akershus for breakfast .. We always make an ADR before the park opens.

We have done the castle and Norway. The castle is "magical", food ok, Princesses ok, very $$$. 2 credits for dining plan


Norway has a nice b/fast & you see all 5 princesses. They give you a picture of your group w/ Belle at no charge. 1 credit on dining plan.

akershus in norway for the latest b'fast seating possible... we like that we can ride the rides or get fastpasses for future world and still walk into world showcase just before it opens...

We love Akershus - it is a great breakfast and you get a lot of princess interaction. We always think it's a great deal for only 1 TS credit and you get the picture with Belle =)

We love the storybook breakfast in Norway. It was one of our favorite meals in Oct. DD4 thought it was magical. We had Cinderella, Belle, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and Ariel.

Akershus is my vote. There are tons of Princesses here and they spend a lot of time at each table.

I honestly haven't been to CRT, so I can't comment. I really wouldn't mind paying the extra money (or extra TS credit), except that I've read such disappointing reviews regarding the food and service. I agree it would be very magical to dine in the castle, but it just seems very expensive to me for what people seem to say about it.

I've been to both 1900 Park Fare and Akershus. I say Akershus hands down! I think that the food is much better, you get a bunch of princesses, and even a complimentary photo with one of the princesses (for us it was Belle)! Akershus also was more relaxing and enjoyable, as I found 1900 to be more crowded and noisy. The character rotation at 1900 was also much slower - we had to wait a while for everyone to come to the table, where the pacing at Akershus was very good and not rushed at all. I've only been to lunch (2x) and have enjoyed it, but I hear great things about breakfast as well.

I think it really depends. There is nothing like eating in the castle. However, you are more rushed. We enjoyed the princesses at both CRT & Akershus. We had lunch at both and I think I enjoyed the lunch more at Akershus. The cold buffet & desserts were awesome!

We are doing both again in May for breakfast. With that being said, DD3 requested to eat in the castle again! So my pick would be CRT!

Back when my girls were into the Princess phase (where does the time go) we did them all and the only one they still ask about is 1900. I think it has the best food out of the 3. Realize CRT is not about the food as it's average to be kind. Your paying for dining in the castle, seeing Cinderella etc. Norway is the best bang for the buck if you want to get all the princesses without having to hunt them down.

CRT is usually Cin, FGM, SB, SW, Belli, misc (we had mary poppins once).
1900 is usually Cin, FGM, WSM, PC, ESS, mice
Norway is usually Belle, SB, SW, Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, misc (mulan etc)

The CRT photo is a very nice keepsake and you get good amount of time with the characters as the others it goes by really quick.

we havent tried the norway one, as im fussy and was worried i wouldnt like it.
we did crt last trip and at dd's request its booked again. i found it very rushed(atleast the time with the princesses). the dessert was yummy and both kids liked their meals, i had a hard time finding something i liked. but its more for the experience of it all!

now 1900 park fare was probably my fave! cindy came over and actually remembered dd4...didnt matter to her but it thrilled me! the characters spent way more time than at crt with our kiddos. we did have to get out server to wrangle lady tremain as she went by us a few times.

We've done all 3 - I would choose Akershus or CRT because your friend's daughter will see 5 princesses at either one. With 1900 Park Fare the only actual princess she will meet will be Cinderella. If cost is not a factor, then I would choose CRT - it's a great atmosphere & a magical experience to dine with the princesses in the castle.

I did all three with my 5 year old princess last October and I think it depends on who you really want to see. If you want to see ALL the princesses then you need to do Akershus or CRT. The character interaction was about the same at both, the food is slightly better at CRT, Akershus is cheaper (for the same character interaction), but she and her little friend were in such awe walking through the castle trying to figure out which room was Cinderella's bedroom and such :0)

However that being said, the one that we will make sure to go back to EVERY time is 1900 Park Fare!! The character interaction there was DEFINITELY the best, hands down, and Cinderella is the fav in our family so she was thrilled to meet her whole family. The highlight of her trip was that dinner, becuase Prince charming made such a fuss over her and she was the first one picked to dance with him.. needless to say, she was beyond thrilled and so was I :0)

We too have done all three on several occasions. I prefer the food at 1900, but like the various princesses at Norway.

Another super Princess event, although not really "dining" is the Perfectly Princess Party at the Grand Floridian with Sleeping Beauty. This is a tea party, in which the little girls attend--all usually dressed like princesses--with Rose, who sings and intermingles with each.

The little girls are presented as they enter the room and each receives a crown to wear. In each little girl's seat, they have placed a Disney Girl Doll, dressed in Sleeping Beauty dress.

Then Rose entertains with song and story. The tea and other edibles are brought out. Finally Sleeping Beauty arrives and goes to each table for photos and autographs, and then leads the girls on a parade around the room.

This event costs more than the princess meals, but is a one-time treat for each. We have done this and my sister and her daughter-in-law are doing this in May with her two granddaughters. I think the price for all 4 is close to $475-500.
