Where is the best Disney Outlet Store?

Could someone please suggest a good quality Disney Outlet Store? Quality being first priority, price second. I do not want to spend $5 on little shirts that will look terrible after one washing.

In general, what are the outlet stores like in Florida? There are no real bargains in North Carolina outlets. I think you just need to hit them at the right time. Unfortunately, I have never been successful in my limited outlet shopping experiences.

My husband will kill me if he knows I am thinking about "shopping" on our Disney trip. lol

I think the outlet merchandise choices are just a hit and miss and mostly depends on what you are looking for.
I have been very happy with the clothes I have bought at Character Corner. They are regular Disney clothes and wear just like any other Disney clothes I have purchased.
I went to Belz last January and wasn't impressed at all. Just so happened the items I looked at were parks prices, or just a penny less.
But I know others swear by Belz. So, like anything, it's a matter of personal taste and what you are looking for.

I don't do a lot of outlet shopping either, and tried Belz for the first time last week. I agree that it's really hit or miss. I was looking for t-shirts for the kids (my 2 and 2 nephews) and found that the designs were limited as were the sizes. Often, if I found a design I liked, there would be only one size (usually one I couldn't use  ). I did manage to find matching Tigger shirts for my nephews that were originally priced at $24 and marked down to $8.99, and a similar Mickey shirt for my DS. I couldn't find anything for DD6 and ended up paying full price for hers at Downtown Disney. Word of caution: check the garments carefully for flaws or missed seams--I didn't check my DS's shirt and have to resew a seam (because I didn't want to go all the way back to Belz to try to exchange it). Good luck!!

We like to stop at the St. Augustine outlet store. We almost always find good deals on high quality merchandise (many things are the exact that you will see in the parks). We drive down from SC so it's easy to stop in and it's a nice break from the drive.

We like the "Prem-ear?" outlet. If you leave the Hotel Plaza Blvd with a turn to the right- go under the interstate and I believe you are turning left at the Intersection that is ??by Bahama Breeze. Go up past the Marriott Village with Springhill/Courtyard/Fairfield in it about 1 1/2 miles and the outlet is on your right. Very nice place. If you are going up I - drive from that area the outlet is on the left near the new ?Publix.

Varies a lot from day to day though.

I found my fav Dis shirt this trip at Wal-Mart there and it is holding up very well.

If you live near the SC line and have time a free afternoon you might want to check out the Disney Outlet in Jonesboro - southeast of Spartanburg. It is connected to a Disney warehouse/distribution center. We make a trip over there 2-3 times a year. It is hit and miss in there sometimes too but they seem to always have a lot of kids stuff. I have bought DD8 shirts in there for less than $3. It is usually end of season stuff that was seen in the catalog. That is were most of her summer clothes come from!

I am not sure how close you are, but there is a great Disney Catalog Outlet store in Pigeon Forge Tennessee. I try to go there atleast once a month to see what they have, and they always have something new, and their discounts are great. They mainly carry items sold in the catalogs that were left over, or too much was ordered and didn't sell, like a certain size in clothing. You can find anything from clothes, to costumes, to toys, to videos. It isn't a huge store, and sometimes the lines remind you of being at Disney World, but the deals are well worth it, if they have something you are looking for, or even gift ideas.:smooth:

One thing to remember about shopping at the outlets ... if you see something you like, grab it! If you come back the next day, it could be gone ... learned that the hard way :p

Don't even wait 5 minutes!! I was at the Belz outlet a few years back and they had two identical Animal Kindgom watches, really nice ones, for like 12.50 each. (Originally 70.00) I planned on getting both, one for me, one as a gift for my brother.... I figured I would do the rest of my shopping and then get them when I was at the register... Well, after 1/2 an hour of shopping, one of them was gone. Of course since there was only one, my brother got something else that year! LOL! ;)

We have had great luck at both Belz and the Premier Outlets... This past summer I found a 30th anniversary leather jacket for like 66% off.. Plus we had them ship it, and other items purchased, home and didn't pay sales tax. As others have stated, however, it can be hit or miss. Some years we don't find as much as others. We always manage to find things though and fill up a suitcase with purchases..

We had great luck at the St.Augistine outlet. There was a yellow jacket my wife had been looking at the parks for 2 years. It was 60 dollars. We found the exact jacket at the outlet for 30. We were shocked and very happy. Be careful though, not everything there is a deal. Most of the items are the same price as the disney store

sgtdisney, how much did they charge for shipping? I agree! They've got lots of great stuff there :p I was worried though, that I wouldn't have enough room in my suitcase *lol* ... I'll have to remember that they ship.

I don't remember the exact figure.. We spend over 200.00 including the leather coat.. I think we paid around 15.00 for shipping.. The best part is when you ship out of the state of Florida, they do not charge you sales tax.. So, in our case, what we paid for shipping we would have probably paid close to in taxes. It really works out nice.

The outlets are hit or miss but we like Beltz Outlet.

The Premier Outlets Mall is probably the closest to WDW.. Belz Mall is on International Drive and is a little farther away.

I would highly recommend you visit the Prime Outlets located off of exit 26 on I-4. You can see these outlets right off the highway. While there we unexpectedly came across a Disney Outlet Store (I think it was called the Disney Character Shop to be exact). Directly across from it was a Universal Studios Outlet. I was able get some major deals at this Disney outlet. Most items were 1/2 price! (when compared to the parks as well as the World of Disney store at the Marketplace.

The best part was- some of the items were the exact same ones being sold throughout WDW! (Maybe overstock?) I picked up 2 t-shirts with the 100 Years of Magic logo for $9.99 each. Also a sweatshirt for $19.99 which I noticed sold for double that at the World of Disney.
The only difference I could observe was that there was a .49 cent charge for gift boxes and the receipts were printed on yellow paper instead of white.

Definitely worth checking out!

We've tried all of them at one time or another and I have to agree it is hit or miss. One trip I will get great deals at one store and the next the deasl will be at the other. I have never hit all four of them in one trip though. Maybe next trip. ;)
