Tell me where you had the BEST breakfast buffet experience at WDW. It will really help me decide where to go.

Boma!! They have all the typical breakfast fare along with an omelette station, carved meats, tons of fresh fruit, and frunch! We've also enjoyed Tusker House and Chef Mickey's. Was less impressed with 1900 Park Fare breakfast (but their dinner is great!).

1. *If* you want "different" food and don't care about characters, Boma.

2. *If* you want good character interaction and don't care about the food being pretty standard (top quality, fresh, hot, decent variety, but nothing you wouldn't find anywhere else), Cape May.

IMHO - Crystal Palace. We do the Breakfast Buffet EVERYTIME we visit WDW.The food is always good(everything is nice and fresh) and they will make up fresh eggs and omelets for you. We make a late ADR 10am or later and this meal keeps us full till dinner!! Joan

We really enjoyed the Tusker House breakfast. They have traditional American food and a great selection of African inspired dishes. My kids still talk about the "Jamba Juice" they serve there. I think it is an excellent choice that both parents and children will enjoy!

Crystal Palace is always one of our favorites and Boma is also very good for a buffet, but if you want a combination of both great buffet with character interaction, my vote would also go for Donald's Breakfast Safari at the Tusker House. They even have some similar options to those at Boma for those would like something a bit different than most standard buffet fare.:thumbsup2

We are trying Donalds B'fast at AK this year as we have had so many people tell us how great it is. I noticed on allears.net the pricing looked very good as well if you wanted to pay out of pocket on that one. We always love Chef Mickeys B'fast and will do that one as well.

I hear Trail's End can't be beat...and it's cheap!

While this isn't a buffet, the Whispering Canyon Cafe @ Wilderness Lodge for Breakfast is FUN & they offer a Canyon Skillet which is all you can eat of the following:

All You Care To Enjoy $14.99 per person

Scrambled Eggs, Oven-roasted Red Bliss Potatoes, Bacon, Sausage, Waffles, Buttermilk Biscuits, and Sausage Gravy

They cheerfully brought out more of everything we ran out of (waffles) etc and it's a good time and something different.

IMO between Cape May and Tusker House. Though we are going to WCC this time. :cool2:

I also vote for Tuskar House. We've consistently had good experiences here.:thumbsup2

For the best, I can't truly say since I haven't tried them all, but Crystal Palace is fantastic. Great character interaction and really good food. Personally I like places that have a make your own omelet option because I like egg whites and no cheese, just veggies in my "omelets"...yes weird. Plus puffed french toast!! And mickey waffles. And it's a great option in MK.

In the past year, I've been to Cape May, 'Ohana, and Crystal Palace.

Out of those, I'd pick Crystal Palace. Three words: PUFFED FRENCH TOAST!!!

In a close second is Cape May.

Way down the list is 'Ohana.
