Where is the best area to request at the Contemp. Resort

I just changed my ressie from the POR to the Contemp. Resort garden wing standard room.
Is there a certain area I should request???

I requested North Wings. To me they seem closer to the main bldg and a shorter walk to MK.

We stayed in the north wings. We had rooms 7278 & 7279. Room 7279 had a view of the castle and parking lot. 7278 had an obstructed view of the castle. YOu could also see the fireworks at night from your room. You can listed to the music on the tv to go along with wishes. These rooms were 2nd floor. The first floor rooms have a patio. We really enjoyed our stay. We also walked to MK and back to our room.

So which is better from the North Garden Wing: a view of the castle/parking lot or a view of the water? Isn't the water parade at 10 p.m. (a little late for us)? Can you see the fireworks if you are on the 1st floor (more impt. to us than the view)? Is there a section of the North Wing that's closer to amenities, like the walkway, the pool, or the main building?

The south wing is closer to the pool area, if that matters to you.
We had a great room in the south garden wing, close to the pool and bay lake.

You can see the fireworks from the 1st floor. There was a family below us watching them while we were. As for as the water parade, we never saw it. We actually forgot about it, but if it was at 10 pm that was too late for us. Our rooms were not that far from the main building. It was actually really close to the food & fun center (in the main building). I think it would be a preference of which view you wanted. We enjoyed seeing the castle turning colors and watching the fireworks at night. When we left the north wing main entrance, we walked straight through the parking lot to the walkway to MK (not a bad walk) much quicker that taking the monorail back.
