Where is the basic Maxpass?

I have never done maxpass but looks like I will this next trip!

Is it only $10 per person per day? Can I buy it prior to going or have to buy it there?

Sounds like instead of waiting 2 hours after pulling a fastpass I can get one 90 minutes later.

Has it been easy to use or constantly down?

What is the general feedback?

I've used it twice now by paying the daily fee of $10/person. We add ours to our AP, but my coworker added maxpass when she purchased her park tickets online.

So far we have had good experiences and never had any outages. I have found it to be especially useful when park hopping.

So, if I plan to park hop when can I reserve a fastpass? For example, say I am at DL first at 8am since I don't have early entry to DCA and I can't go into DCA until 9am and while I am in DL can I reserve a fastpass for DCA like for Guardians during the 8am time? Also, I saw that I can get a fastpass for fantasmic without having to wait the 2 hours. So can I reserve fantasmic and then space mountain also?

Sorry for all the questions, they roll out new procedures every couple years so I am behind.

The show FPs cannot be obtained through MP. They also do not count against your FP pull (they are not connected to the ride FP system). You will still have to go to the physical kiosk locations to get a show FP.

Regarding pulling for DCA while in DL, this can be done and is considered one of the benefits of MP. Once you have entered one park and purchased MP (if not already included in your hopper ticket/AP... However you must still have scanned in for the day for it to be usable), you can get FPs for either park. Your do not have to physical be in the park you want a FP for.

I know you can book a FP in DCA, if you have only entered Disneyland, but I'm not sure on the timing. I would assume if FP is active in the other park (i.e. you can pull a physical FP if you are there) that you could use Maxpass as well.

Yes, show FP's don't count against your window for ride FP's, but you do have to grab them physically as there is no Maxpass for shows.

You can immediately pull FP once you've entered either park. So if you enter the turnstiles at 7:30 for an 8am opening, you can immediately log in and book your first FP for either park. So yes, you can book during a EMH that you don't have access to. The FP return times don't start until after regular park opening.

If you purchase online from Disney you should be able to add MP as you're purchasing it. If you've already purchased it, or are buying it elsewhere, you can buy it through the app after you enter the park each day.
