"Where is THAT?!" Disneyland Photo Thread!

Here's a few tough ones. My lovely wife cannot answer because I think she took these pictures.

Maybe easy or maybe hard.

oh....just had a thought.....is this somewhere on the Jungle Cruise??

:confused3 So? Even someone who has never been there guessed it right. I mean really who cares. There are rides I can't go on because they make me sick, not gonna "boo" if someone posts a picture from them. It's a game on DLR pictures for FUN. Didn't realize there was some rule about not putting pictures of places you haven't seen yet. :sad2:

It's MY game and I said "obscure" and Club 33 certainly is just that! ;)

I'm all out of pics for now. Give me a couple weeks until I get back- I'm bound to find some good ones.

Quest4fun: the statue almost looks to be of a Native American but I have no clue where it is.

Not a native American and not in Adventureland if that helps.

Here is a hint but not a very good one.

It's in a public area. No special privilages are required. It's a bit off the beaten path though so you may want to keep an eye out for it on your next trip. I've seen this statue many times before and this photo was not taken the first time I saw it.

If you're not looking for it you won't find it.

Here are two more....

And this one is kind of weird. Walking up these stairs..my husband put the camera behind him and snapped a picture of me (I was making a weird face so I editted that part out.) Can you guess where this was?

Quest4Fun has me stumped, but these I think I know!

#1 is as you come back into the loading area on Big Thunder Mountain. There's a ghost town on the left-hand side and that's one of the buildings.

#2, I believe, is as you exit Space Mountain and walk towards the photo-purchase area.

Good job! And I thought the stairs would be a hard one..haha.

This is among one of the harder things to spot since it's a very un-Disney statue. I think any closer hints will give it away immediately. I don't think it is quite as obscure as the clock underneath Sleepy Beauty's Castle.

Come to think of it I rarely see people in the area where this is found. I know somebody out there has seen this. I can't be the only one.

Is this Pocahontas??

fpmans.jpg

Last I checked Pocahontas was a native American but I believe they referred to her as an Indian in the movie so I can understand why this may have been missed.

The statue is not Pocahontas. She is not an Indian (native American).

Is the statue anywhere near the restrooms in Adventureland? Like, across from the Tiki Room area? Just a shot in the dark. :confused3

This is not in Adventureland.

To recap for those who do not want to go back. Not a native American and not in Adventureland. It is in Disneyland as this is a thread about Disneyland photos. I'll admit I did a California Adventure one and I apologize.

Is it in the cemetary at the haunted mansion? Maybe "secret" one I've heard about?

You're so close. You're practically standing next to it. Not in the cemetary though. It's not a secret statue. It's out in the open where everybody can see.

Maybe out in the courtyard area between French Market and Haunted Mansion?

By the fast pass machines?

DING DING DING ALARM BELLS!!!

It is indeed inside the Haunted Mansion's Fast Pass Distribution area. There is hardly ever a line so not many people venture back into that area for a fast pass since the machines are usually covered. There are several statues back there.

I knew somebody would get it. Good work. Now I find another picture.

I didn't even know HM had FP's! I will be looking for that little lady next week when I'm there.

I think you're the winner so far, Quest4fun!
