Hi Everyone - we are heading to Disney this week and I was wondering where I can find Rapunzel. Is there a site somewhere that will tell me where we can Meet and Greet her and other Characters? Also, I was wondering if she would be part of the princess story book dining at Akershus?
thanks!:thumbsup2

Unless she has moved, when we were there in May she was to the right of Cinderella Castle if looking straight on. I'm not sure exactly what that area is called. But if you walk up to the castle and take a right towards (what was) Toontown/Fantasyland, it'll be on your left hand side right before The Mad Tea Party. I hope this helps!:goodvibes

Yep, she has her own Fairytale Storytime that replaced Belle's Storytime.

Since the removal of Flynn Ryder and the Play and Greet changed to a traditional Meet and Greet I've heard the lines are much more manageable.

If they were to remove Rapunzel as well, then the lines would even be shorter.

We were at Disney a week and a half ago, and we stumbled upon her in Epcot with absolutely NO line!!! It was great. We had planned on doing the Repunzal thing Fri., but on Wed. (9/7,) we were heading to the boats for the Boardwalk, and right before we got to the boats; she was there, just standing there. One of the fairies was also there. I'm not sure if they're always there, but it's worth a shot. It was probably around 11:30 am.

Yup.

Don't count on meeting any particular characters at the International Gateway
(#1-#5 on map) or at the "World Showplace" gates (#12a on map,) nearby.

Those are special areas for "friends of characters" to train to meet guests.

Just which characters will appear at those locations (if any) is random, at best.

The wait for Rapunzel a couple weeks ago was right about 40-50 minutes; that was at about 3:15. Pooh and Tigger had a 20 minute wait, they meet just around the corner from Rapunzel.

The same day, the line for the fairies was only 20 min (Adeventureland) and Mickey and the Princess (Main Street) were walk in with NO wait. So slow day everywhere else. We opted not to wait for Rapunzel as the line is in the sun.

Belle doesn't do storytime anymore? :sad2: Very disappointing....

Belle will have a storytime in the new Fantasyland. Her area is expected to open late fall 2012.

;) Do you know if they are planning to nix Rapunzel before march/april of 2012? wondering if she will still be out at the Belle storytime location or if they are moving her to the princess M&G sometime before or forgetting about her.... was also wondering the same thing about Tiana....

thx,
Sydnerlla's Mama

There are multiple (reliable) sources indicating the princess will be in the fairytale hall... and there are multiple (reliable) sources that Tiana and Rapunzel will be remaining in their current locations.

Time will tell.

Aw, thats alright it will be something we can look forward to on another trip, we live in Australia :) looking forward to seeing the new fantasyland when it is completed :cool1:

The line for Rapunzel last week wasn't nearly as bad as I figured it would be (and this was one an eve emh night, when the park was rather crowded) I jumped in her line at 5:30, they were letting this set of people in at 6:05. From there the line moved quite quickly, she managed to get a lot of interaction in that short time frame too, it was definitely worth the wait!
