Where is guest laundry at Old Key West and Boardwalk Villas???

I haven't stayed at Boardwalk but at OKW, the laundry rooms for studio occupants are near each pool. There are two washers and four dryers in each laundry room.

It's been 5 years, but If I recall correctly, the boardwalk laundry room is 1st floor just down the hall near the exit out to the pool. The door is unmarked, which makes it a little hard to find at first. Ask the CM at the desk as you check-in and he/she will point it out for you.

At BWV take the elevator to the ground floor. Turn right as you get off the elevator and take another right down the hall. The laundry is just a short way down the hall on the left. The washers and dryers are new high efficiency models.

My wife had to use the Boardwalk Inn laundry and while not Free, the front desk did provide quarters so that it was free. Not sure of location as I was watching college football.

Laundry idiot here -- do high efficiency washers use the same detergent as regular washers?

HE washers are supposed to use HE detergent. However, BWV still had regular detergent in the vending machine last time I looked (may have changed). Some folks use less regular detergent if HE detergent isn't available. Several posters on these boards have used the new Purex sheets with success, and these are easy to pack.

Gotcha! I did not say what the coins where for............Yes ,they are free.
