:earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsboy: We are going May 31 st and my 2 year old is in love with Donald Duck!Where can we see him so we can get a photo of them together?

Thanks

My understanding is that Donald is one of the more rare characters, due to the fact that the CM portraying him must be fairly short (5'1"-ish.) I've seen photos of him on his houseboat, but not sure if he has a particular hangout. I would recommend asking at City Hall where and when you might find him.

Both times we went to goofy's kitchen ( 2002 and 2004) he was outside of the resturant for pictures. You do not have to eat at the resturant to get your picture taken with him. I do know that he is not always there, but you might want to drop by and see if you see him. We were staying at the DLH the last trip and they rotated him out with Pluto.

We spent 4 days at DL over spring break, and we saw Donald daily on Main Street. He is out in his "50th Anniversary" costume, which looks much like his usual except with 50's on his buttons (and a little flashier). A great time to meet him is right after the rededication ceremnoy at the Train Station. The characters march away to the music, then come back out for pics and autographs.

Donald is my favorite, and when we were there last year, mid-June, we were told he was "out shopping" for the week and wouldn't be there. I was totally bummed!!
Just be sure and ask at City Hall where he will be.

When we were there 1 1/2 weeks ago Donald was dancing with Goofy and several cast members next to the restaurant in Tomorrowland. Kids were all over the place and they were signing autographs too! Donald is short. I can relate to that.

Hi!
Please tell me more about this?
Is it everyday?What time usually?

Thanks

When we were there it was at 10am everyday, at the main street side of the train station. It is listed in the Times Guide, so be sure to check there for details. it's brief, but worthwhile, The Disneyland Band plays and marches out, led by Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and DOnald. The Mayor of Main Street welcomes you to Disneyland and the 50th celebration, then you pause to hear Walt's speech. Then, the characters and band march away. Cute and sentimental!

The only times I've see Donald the most is during Christmas... :confused3

It was a rarity, but I once saw Donald on a Thursday back in late Feb. My sister went to get a table at Carnation while I ran to get a picture! He was standing by the Mad Hatter store on Main Street, the same spot Mickey is often seen. And yeah, he's very short. He's like my height and I'm 5'2!

from what you people are saying donald could fit under my armpit. but i suppose they make the characters short so the kids wont be too afraind of them.

yeah you could! call their job hotline and see when they're doing character auditions.

We don't ever go lookin for the characters. So, I am not sure what times he is there. You can always ask at City Hall and they will tell you when he is going to be around.
We did see Mickey and the gang pile into the Omnibus on Main St while were honeymooning in early April. It was so cute!
