Where is Check-In For VGF2

We will be staying at VGF2 next month with some family members that will meet us there and potentially arrive before us. Their names are on the ressie. Is check in at the GF hotel side or do they have to check in at the Villas side and since VGF2 is located at GF Hotel side, will bell services at the hotel hold our luggage until our room is ready?

Just stayed there mid August! Check in hotel side and yes they also held our luggage. Enjoy!

I was there in early August. I did online check in, but there was a glitch. Katy, a CM helped me out right in the main lobby. I also held my luggage with Bell Service at the Main Hotel.

I loved having the pool and lobby so close to my building. Enjoy!

We just stayed there, and we checked in at the DVC check in. When our lyft driver went through the security gates, the cast member there directed him to the DVC check in building.
It was really nice to be honest. Quiet and we got to sit at the desk while we were checking in with our very friendly cast member. He also asked us what requests we wanted, and when we said we knew very little about the resort or what to request, he just said he would get us a great room that we would love. He did a great job!!! and our room was ready about 2:00 as well.

We are here now and like the PP we also had the security at the gate tell the Lyft driver to bring us to the villas building. When we drove ahead a bit I told him to go the main building. The CM there got us all set and even reassigned our room Bc she said the one we had was very close to the construction. Also held or bags at bell service in the main lobby until our room was ready around 2.

Construction stops early afternoon but it does begin around 8am. Really was not very bothersome at all.

Edit: just came out to the balcony and they’ve already started. Not very loud at all though.
