Can anyone suggest some where nice to eat for our anniversary in september. :cutie:

Well there's LOTS of nice places-but we always like California Grill- w/ a ressie about an hour or hour and 1/2 b4 fireworks time. If you tell them it's your anniversary adn you're dressed nicely you'll have a better chance of getting a great window seat!
i also hear good things about narcoossees at the grand floridian though i've never been.

Almost any of the Signature restaurants are nice for an anniversary dinner.

And I should add that in our experience, how you are dressed makes little diffence as to whether or not you get a window seat at California Grill.

I say Narcoosses at the GF! We ate there for my Dads 60th birthday and it is very romantic on the waterfront at night! The food was excellent and they have a great wine and drink list. Chef de France in Epcot is really nice as well:)

Flying Fish is our very favorite restaurant and I really enjoy walking around the Boardwalk with the street entertainment as well. It's a very nice evening.

But if a great view of Wishes is more your style, Cali grill is excellent as well.

Lots of posters enjoy the other signature restaurants on the Boardwalk (Spoodles, Narcoosee's), but we've never been, Flying Fish is just our style!

If it doesn't have to be on the dining plan, look into the restaurants at the Swan/Dolphin.

For our 10 yr Wedding Anniversary, we are going to be eating at Cali Grill. This is our favorite Signature restaurant. Nothing beats eating awesome food while looking down at the Magic Kingdom. Also to have a glass of wine in hand and viewing Wishes out on their balcany is pure Disney Magic.

We celebrated our 10th anniversary at Victoria & Albert's and it was perfectly perfect in every way. Easily the best meal that I've had in my entire life and incredibly romantic.

I agree with California Grill but I would suggest one thing different. Since it's your anniversary and a nice quiet meal to talk might be nice I would ask to be seated in the wine room. No, you don't get the MK view but it is a lovely place to sit. When we dine there we always sit in the wine room. You can go to the main area and view the fireworks from the outside viewing area you just don't get the view of the park. But that's okay with us. We are usually there late enough that we do get a view of the Electrical Water Pageant as it goes to WL and FW and that's pretty cool too!

Nothing is more romantic than V&A. We also think Bistro de Paris is quite nice.

Ca Grill has great sushi but I would not consider this restaurant very romantic as it's very noisy and your chances of getting a window seat are hit and miss, regardless of how you are dressed or what you are celebrating.

Of the signatures on the dining plan, I think Jiko is the most romantic. It's dark and has the changing lighting. It's also been a quieter dining experience than many of Disney's other restaurants.

I say Narcoosee, Cali Grill, and Blue Zoo. I also have heard good things about Artists Point but have never been.
Happy Anniversary!

Victoria and Albert's! which is wonderful and also does not allow children under age 10.

If you are looking for the second best restaurant on property go to Bistro de Paris in Epcot. Note they do not have a children's menu and children are discouraged. I think they have a 30 day reservation policy, not the standard 90 days.

We are traveling with our children, so we will be celebrating our 10th this year at the California Grill. :)

Thank you very much for your advice, california grill sounds nice, where is it? Victoria and alberts also sounds nice, but will have our 9 yr old daughter joining us.... When you talk about signature restaraunts, what does this mean? ;)

California Grill is on the top (15th) floor of the Contemporary Resort, next to the magic kingdom (it's a stop on the monorail). It's a lovely meal, and I can highly recommend the filet mignon. Make reservations early if you're going try for a table to see the fireworks from.

Signature restaurants are Disney's higher-end dining experiences. These are multi-star restaurants, highly critically acclaimed, and some of the best dining in the southeastern USA.

Our favorites are California Grill and Citricos (which is at the Grand Floridian Resort).

I posted above in response to another similar ? that we loved AP.

I am going to try to convince my husband to go to Disney in August of 2010...it will be our 35th anniv. and since I didn't get him to go for our 25th, maybe if I start praying now, I will get him there in 2010:) But, I think we would like the Cali Grill....

thank you for all your help, I like the sound of California Grill, I think I will give that a go. :cutie:
