Where In The World Sweet 16

So, on Friday I went to the eye doctors because I had been having some trouble seeing and had assumed that my prescription had changed. I already have really bad eyes so I wouldn't really be surprised. But no, he tells me that my prescription has not changed but that I'm having trouble seeing because my corneas are swollen!!? I didn't even know that was possible, he said that it normally happens when people over-wear their contacts or sleep in them, neither of which I do! So now I have to wear my glasses for at least a week (which I have hardly ever worn since around 8th grade) and put steroid drops in my eyes four times a day, and then on Thursday I get to go back and see if they worked. Meanwhile I'm having to operate with super blurry vision because glasses only help so much when you somehow make your corneas swell!

Oh Heather...I'm so sorry. How frustrating and scary. Follow doctors orders and we'll keep you in our prayers. :grouphug: Good luck dealing with that at school this week! :worried: :tink:

The trophy room?

:yay::yay::yay: But you could see well enough to do some research! :yay::yay::yay: Team Mickey is now The Trophy Room!

The Trophy Room is now part of the Marketplace Co-op which includes Beautifully Disney, Cherry Tree Lane, D-Tech on Demand, Disney Centerpiece (a REALLY fun shop ) and Zoey and Pickles (Don't go in there with a "Diva DGD" :faint:)! :tink:

First thought is the bed backboard in a resort room at the Poly. (Can you tell I'm tired? :rotfl2: EARLY morning with DGD's! :faint:) :tink:

So my computer died again.:furious::furious: I just got it back and it's doing the same thing again.

This is not from the Poly and not part of a bed backboard.

Got some great mail today

:cool1::cool1::cool1:

Those cookies look good

Those are so cute. Recipe??

I had a feeling it was in this area. I just couldn't remember what it was called.

:furious: I was wondering if that's what might have happened since you didn't say anything about going to Maine. :furious: That is SO frustrating! :headache:

My next thought would be AKL. :tink:

Bake cookies
Decorate cookies
Eat cookies

Lol

A typical "man's view" :thumbsup2...as a "baker"...the following steps must be followed :rotfl2::

~Find recipe
~Make a list of ingredients
~Trip to grocery store because there's ALWAYS at least 1 ingredient that's not in the pantry
~Figure time needed to complete the project
~Decide if you want the children to help or if you must figure out a time to complete cookies when they will NOT be available to interrupt
~Mix ingredients for cookies and bake
~Allow cooling time
~Mix ingredients for icing and decorating
~Find utensils needed for piping the "arms", etc.
~Wash those utensils since they've probably been in the closet since last holiday season
~Apply icing to COOLED cookies (if cookies are still warm thin icing will "slide" off cookies creating a HUGE mess on your kitchen cabinet
~Apply various decorations to cookies
~Search to locate storage container big enough for storing cookies
~Clean the kitchen
~Wash the dishes
~Then and only then can you "enjoy" the cookies...IF husband and kids haven't eaten them all already! :lmao::rotfl2::lmao: :tink:

Yes it is from a deluxe.

No not from the Poly.

I thought it would still be under warranty but when I called they said the warrenty had expired.:confused3 I thought it was good for a year. When I asked why it wasn't good for a year all they said was well when we punch in the serial number it says the warranty has expired sorry we can't help you. Stupid HP should have stayed with Dell.:sad2:

Very frustrating especially when the kids need it for homework.:headache:

Did you get a chance to explore the Marketplace Co-op? I liked the variety of items that have been created with "Disney" in mind. Fun shop! :thumbsup2 Make note of the various names...there will "be a test" later! :lmao: :tink:
