So, on Friday I went to the eye doctors because I had been having some trouble seeing and had assumed that my prescription had changed. I already have really bad eyes so I wouldn't really be surprised. But no, he tells me that my prescription has not changed but that I'm having trouble seeing because my corneas are swollen!!? I didn't even know that was possible, he said that it normally happens when people over-wear their contacts or sleep in them, neither of which I do! So now I have to wear my glasses for at least a week (which I have hardly ever worn since around 8th grade) and put steroid drops in my eyes four times a day, and then on Thursday I get to go back and see if they worked. Meanwhile I'm having to operate with super blurry vision because glasses only help so much when you somehow make your corneas swell!
Oh Heather...I'm so sorry. How frustrating and scary.
