Where in the World can we eat sushi?

My dh loves sushi. We enjoyed it at California Grill and Wolf Gang Puck Cafe on our last visit to WDW. This time we are hoping to try some new restaurants and his only request is that one of them offer sushi. TIA!

And you can order off the sushi bar menu while eating at Kona Café, too. They don't have a huge selection, though.

Kimono's and Tokyo Dining are rumored to be the best.

Some of the resort CS have sushi as well. California grill has nice sushi. DH's favorite was the sushi bar at the Poly.

My research on this very topic so far indicates ...nope, not on the dining plan.

I would highly recommend the Kona Island Sushi Bar at the Polynesian.

we ate at the CS restaurant in Japan - they had a "Spicy Tuna Roll" dh said it was the best he's had in awhile (we dont go to high end sushi places ) because most of the "spicy rolls" just arent spicy!!

it was a nice break that day - wander up to the restaurant!

Right across the street from Downtown Disney is the Hilton, you can just walk across the street to it. There is a Beni Hana's in the Hilton and they have wonderful sushi.

Well Head to the counter/bar area for the All-you can eat sushi, which is 19.95 per person for 1 hour. But trust me, you can eat ALOT in a hour, They have around 12-15 different choices on the menu, including rolls and nigiri. I think my favorites were the double double and the spicy tuna.

Where is this? Sounds like something my dh would love!

We ate dinner at Kimonos inside the Swan in September 2009. Nice selection of sushi (rolls, nigiri) and it was fun to watch other people participating in the lounge's karaoke. Prices are reasonable compared to sushi / thai restaurants outside Walt Disney World. Service was good; enough staff that evening to maintain their tables without excessive waiting, but not so attentive that you felt bothered. Lounge is relaxed, but maintains the class and sophistication of a fine venue. Location was great; walked over through International Gateway after a day at the World Showcase. Afterward, we walked around The Boardwalk area and took a boat ride over to Hollywood Studios. I definitely recommend!

I don't really like sushi, but my fiance loves it, so he got some in the Japan section of Epcot and he didn't really care for it. He also had some at Kona which he said was very good.

Pucks would have the best sushi overall...but the one thing you can usually always say about WDW food in general is that the quality is consistent...they aren't gonna take any chances with food poisoning...

morale of the story: you can be assured that any sushi you can find won't be bad...not like a chinese/asian place in a stripmall in pittsburgh

I think Kimonos has the best sushi in WDW. Followed by California Grill.

Thank you for all the replies. They've been very helpful! I'm still very interested in where we can get the "all you can eat" for $19.95. Anyone know? We will be on the deluxe DDP so I don't think we can use that at Kimonos or the sushi bar at Kona, although it might be something that my dh would be willing to pay oop for.

No DDP at Kimonos. However, the word is that you can use DDP at the Kona sushi bar.

That post about the $19.95 all you can eat sushi was posted by a spammer and has been removed. To my knowledge there isn't anything like that on Disney property (although I have been to one in Vegas)
