OMG! Ed, you are so fast with the pictures, if you have time, you could give us a picture of a piano and of an organ. A piano has one keyboard and is played by striking a key which hits strings with a hammer over a sound board.

An organ has more than one keyboard, called "manuals" and another keyboard of foot peddles. It is played by pushing a key which blows air through a tube like a big whistle.

Of course those definitions are passé now that everything is electric.....

Sorry you have to go sit in the heat this weekend. We had our week of 90 degree weather. Rain last night and now the 80's for a week. This place is really hopping with all the summer tourists. Kettle Falls: Vacation site for over 6,000 years.

Diane...entering those volatile years! I remember them well! There's a thread on the Community Board about "tweens"; DD has already been reading it and, if you need a good laugh, check it out! Some of the stories will have you doubled over with laughter!

I'll have to check it out.

Finally back! DD's camera decided not to work at the birthday party; they're leaving tomorrow for DW so we had to find a new one for her. We gave DGD a camera for her birthday; her parents gave her a cell phone...she comes out of the movie theater and realizes she has neither of them. DD is freaking out; I come out of the restroom and find out what's going on, calm them all down 'cause I have both items in my bag! (Mimi ALWAYS "lags behind" and checks for left items before SHE leaves! ) This is only a few days after DD backed into her DH's truck with her vehicle and now both need to be repaired! She's leaving her house & post office box key with us; DH looks at the house key and says it's not the right one...so now her house key is missing! Just another "day in our lives"! Hope they make it to the airport in the morning without mishap!

NOW...to your picture...jeepwreck surprised us a few days ago with a "tiki looking face" from the totum poles in Canada. Does your photo come from the same spot?
