We didn't expect to be gone all weekend. We had a softball tournament near Maine so we stayed up there on Fri and we were going to come back on Sat but some unexpected thunder storms kind of kept the day longer than it had to be and a bunch of games got cancelled and moved to Sunday. I was having Disboard withdrawals

my next pic...and i have a really good storm cell going over head right now. The rain was almost horizontal. Wish my camera was charged.

Aw Man...I wish your camera was charged too! I LOVE rain/storm photos! And what am I doing...walking to the front yard; and then the back yard...to move the water hoses!

From a Cat 3 Hurricane in 2004. These were taken very close to the eye coming overhead. To the side of where i am standing was my lounge chair. I enjoy watching this kind of weather. When the eye passed over and wind changed directions my butt was inside

The tree across from me was a whole lot fuller at the beginning of the storm. A good portion fell in front of her house and not on it. you can see the one large branch down at the time i took this pic. I had to hook it up to my suv and tow away for her and her husband to just get out of their house. Then another neighbor went to town with the chain saw. They were both in their 70's at the time.
