Glad to have you back and glad David is doing ok. I agree NO more hospitals for you. We were watching the news and saw Texas was having some pretty nasty weather yesterday. Big hail storm somewhere in the state can't remember where.
Is the attraction a ride or a show?
Hope you made it through the night. You and Diane have the worst weather.
And Karolyn you should be glad that that the hip was not done

Love the picture Ed; immediately thought of the elderly gentlemen who was in our class last Thursday and had his hip replaced Monday also...he arrived at the hospital about the same time we did...that
5:30 AM arrival time was for him too.

He DID have his hip done.
As expected...a long night! Not long after I posted the rain started...and boy did it rain! Don't think the winds got up to the possible 60 mph but they were pretty strong. We had water running in/blowing in under our garage doors...I stuffed newspapers against the doors so the garage wouldn't flood (of course that means I have to pick up those soggy newspapers sometime today

); lights blinked a couple of times and when I opened my bedroom curtains/shades this morning I'm greeted with a HUGE limb laying in our yard from one of our oak trees!

That's going to lay there a few weeks

, no way I can move it! Pool is FULL of "junk" but at least the large limb missed it! Diane...the hail was in north Texas, I think Monday night...close to my niece. Some of it was GRAPEFRUIT size!

I noticed on Facebook a post from someone who's daughters car was totally destroyed.

Haven't talked to my niece yet..."on the list" for today.
AND...to top it off...had a little problem with the "pin hole" on DH's leg...this was the anchor point for the "robot" to install the new knee. LOTS of drainage; won't go into gross details but had to "report as a nurse" at 6:30 AM.

Not sure if we have it under control or not; Dr. L says that's normal but sure did create a lot of "housekeeping" duties for me.

At least I don't have to worry about dinner...my sweet sister left our entire meal in an ice chest at the front door this morning when she drove through Bellville!
