I miss that parade! If this can't be solved tomorrow I may have to go back to my photos for a refresher course! I'll start with Mickey's float.

Our little dancer performed her Pirate number tonight for the first time and even if I must say so myself, it's pretty awesome! She'd give Jack Sparrow a run for the money! The girls...and guy...performed for the clients at Brookwood (assisted living facility) tonight and we all had a very enjoyable evening. This is a yearly public service performance and the clients are always SO appreciative. We're off early Sunday morning for the George R. Brown Convention Center to watch ACE compete again. Won 2; lost 1 today so they're in the Silver Championship bracket. There were 850 TEAMS participating in various brackets with about 400 remaining. I see a lot of young ladies and a lot of noise in my future!

So y'all will have most of the day to think on this item in Innovations. It's not a puzzle or game.

The clients LOVE it! They always break the performances up with YMCA in the middle and invite them on stage to "dance" with them. Brings tears to the eyes of "softees" BFF and myself; it's priceless. We were a little concerned the first year the studio did this; we were afraid the younger girls especially would be a little frightened....some of the clients are really, REALLY in need of "assisted living". Never saw even a tiny bit of fear in their eyes and the clients were SO proud to have "new friends".

Good day today too...sort of. Great competition for ACE and they ended up in a "3 way tie" for 2nd. Team A lost to Team B & C; Team B lost to Team A & C and Team C lost to Team A & B......got that? In other words...perfectly matched competition outside of the Champions. Fun afternoon with friends...some of the Dad's challenged the ACE team members...AND the Princess ...to a game between matches...THAT was "entertaining" . No one had special spring break plans and we "hung around" together after the final match just to visit. Nice to see the bonding with these families who will be in each others lives the next 4 years. Got some good pictures of downtown Houston too...was a beautiful day!

Not a huge fan of "the city" but downtown Houston was pretty today!

Downtown Houston is pretty. It does look like spring there. No green in sight here.
That's a lot of volley ball courts.
