Where In The World #20

Only thing I can think of is one of the Toy Story green army men at HS?

So sorry about your babies  I'm glad Cosmos was able to pass away in the comfort of his own home with the people he loved. :flower3:

Is your crop from a park attraction?

I told you this one would be easy. I am a bit embarrassed to say I can't find the exact photo I took the crop from, but here is another one.

Yes, this is part of a railing in DTD. :tink:

Is it in a general area or related to a specific shop or restaurant?

Thanks for the birthday wishes. Jeff that is just plain bad :lmao:

I have been very busy. Drag racing event all weekend out at the track. Face is as red as Ariel's hair.

:headache: Home from the track meet early; Redstorm had to pull out of the 1600 meter relay team race...HURT HER ANKLE AGAIN! :headache: She came in 3rd in the 800 meter race but we could tell she was really slowing down in the 400. She came in 5th but was limping when she left the track. She called us in the stands about 30 minutes later and told us she was done for the night; her coach wouldn't even let her attempt her leg of the 1600 (THANK GOODNESS). Sure hoping it's a minor problem and just needs rest; she's been invited to participate in a Jr. Olympics Soccer Training Session again in 10 days. :tink:

Hope your DGD ankle is ok. DD hurt her ankle in 7th grade cross country. It still bothers her sometimes if she runs long distance or if she runs/steps wrong on it. She has an ankle brace she wears when she runs when it acts up.

Sorry to hear about the ankles. Have to get them to heal up and come down and run one of the Disney events. Y'all can come run with the red head :rotfl2:

Thank you all for your well wishes for my fur baby. His name is Cosmo and he is a 10 yr old boxer. We did not get good news. I went to the appointment knowing that it was something serious. Boxers are prone to cancer and the average life span is only 8 - 12 yrs. They know by the blood work that his liver is failing. It's most likely cancer, but could be Hepatitis. Our options are some expensive testing, $1000 - $1500; or putting him to sleep. Going to take him camping with us and make a decision. If he was younger, I wouldn't hesitate to do the testing, but at his age, the vet said its more than likely that the out come will not be good. Not the best of days, but will try to enjoy our weekend with him.

Denise, no we are not camping at Fort Wilderness this trip, just a quick weekend at a local State Park.

This is Cosmo.

He is a good looking Boxer. My Aunt and Uncle had a boxer years ago. I do not remember how long he lived.

For all you that have pets in the states. Do you guys have pet insurance down there we do up here. Just wondering because you guys seem to spend a small fortune on these animals to keep them well.

We don’t have any pets so I don’t know how the insurance works but I know several people who have it and it does not cost a lot per month and if your pet ever goes to the vet they pretty much cover most of the Vet bills.

Just wondering if they have stuff like that down there too

We do and I have it on son's cat. It is about 350 a year. We had a cat a several years ago that just made 2 years old. Did not have it on him. 2 surgeries and over 10 grand later. The surgery only helped a little for him. Put him to sleep not longer after.

Oh he looks like a great dog! So sorry the news at the vet today wasn't good. 10 is good for a big dog like a boxer. I last month I had to have the vet put my Pepper Pup "to sleep".

I was just looking at pet insurance today. It started at about $50 a month. But the problem was that it wouldn't cover any "pre-existing conditions" and since all of my animals are older, they've got the problems that are just going to get worse. I guess they want you to get it for your kitten or puppy so you will have to pay for years before you really need it.

Park? Resort or other?

You have 6 dogs?

For those of you without Facebook, this was Pepper.

And I have to take my other dog, Cindy to the vet on Monday for kennel cough...... :sad2:

Pepper looked great. I love the coloring. :grouphug:

:yay::dogdance::yay: Yes it is! Just wanted to REMIND you of the great view and how HAPPY you are when you ride it!:rolleyes1

How come you didn't post the pic with the "umbrella hat" on her. ::yes::

What a cute pic! I'm jealous, as every time we've planned to do the balloon, it's been closed for wind.

You can join us too.

Thank you for all your support with Cosmo. We did not have to take him this morning, as he passed peacefully on his own yesterday. I know he is in heaven with his best buddy, Bryce. Bryce was my younger son who passed August of 2014, and Cosmo was "his" dog. Knowing they are together again gives me peace.

Guess I should have read all of the threads. So sorry Terri to hear about Cosmo and Bryce. :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:

You should be running the race this weekend...wouldn't THAT look "pretty"...red hair & red FACE! S-U-N-S-C-R-E-E-N ... ED...you live in Florida, you should know better! ::yes::

Women's Athletic Director called DD this morning with "instructions" :rolleyes1, "TODAY, after school, get her arch supports; I'll have my trainer look at her this week and we'll fit her for a lace up ankle support and I'll get it ordered ... and ...I'd BETTER NOT SEE her at ANY athletic event WITHOUT that ankle brace ON". This lady is a former coach of DD and SIL's; they know her WELL and all DD could say was, "Yes, Ma'am". :rotfl2: She's really counting on Redstorm in her freshman year to help her volleyball team and has been following her all year. She got the arch supports after school :rotfl: and loves them so hopefully with them and the special ankle support she'll be okay.

Couldn't find the umbrella hat picture :faint:...it's "hiding" in one of my files somewhere. :tink:

OK so it's not an attraction, shop or food service right, how about restrooms? Is it on the Marketplace side?

DS is always so crowded when we go it hard to really notice things! This one is a toughie. Which section: Marketplace, Town Center, The Landings or West Side?

Mid-afternoon is a good time to visit, not to crowded until around sundown. Which is about when we arrived in November :faint:! Crowds actually weren't as bad as I thought they'd be; when I went in the evening in 2013 it was CRAZY! This is from the Marketplace side; it's not restrooms but close to some and this is actually in a relatively quiet area. :tink:

Will definitely go sometime other than in the evening next trip. I will pass on this one as I am not that familiar with DS. Anyone else got this one?

I did not get to say I am sorry Terri for your lost

a friend of mine just lost his dog of 15 years and he is not taking to good so I can guess what you are feeling
