Funny wearing life jackets and pool floaties. Sad about the parade. Broccoli and cheese soup sounds yummy.

I know...guess you have to be a college student to think of things like that but SO appropriate for today. Just Facebooked my niece in the Dallas area and she guesses they've had a foot of rain yesterday and today. In Corsicana, 40-50 miles south of Dallas, a 65 car train derailed...the ground under the tracks "gave way". Engineers had to be rescued by water rescue. Tornado's just reported in the Houston area to but we're just "chilling"...1 1/2" and broccoli is cooked and ready for the soup. But NOW DH tells me he'd rather have chicken soup...he's been a little "under the weather", as has DD and DSIL. I told them ALL...they better NOT make the girls and I sick! Told DH he'd have to settle for a cup of chicken broth...my taste buds are set on the Broccoli/Cheese Soup. (AND...heard earlier, driver of the car that hit the parade has been arrested for DWI ...I think it's time drunk drivers start doing some major "time"...it's getting out of hand. )

I saw the train on the news. Scary. Drunk drivers should go to jail and lose their license forever.
