Guess what I woke up to this morning...after I "slept in" since I forgot to set the battery backed alarm clock and our electricity was OUT ... ice, ice and more ice! And today is Primary Election Day in Texas...sure am glad I early voted . AND...it's still THUNDERING and raining:

One limb lost out of my large magnolia tree...so far:

Ice is not good. Hopefully there is no more damage. Glad your electricity is back on.

I'd SO much rather have snow; our backyard is full of broken limbs. Stupid magnolia branch "took out" one of my azaleas too and half of the bottle brush bush. It's pretty but WHAT a mess!

Goopy I can spare you some azaleas from my yard. We have one bush that's pretty much taken over a corner....azaleas abound at our abode!

Went out after lunch to take ice pictures around town; had to cut the trip short when CHUNKS of ice started falling with "the thaw"! Dodged those suckers all the way home! It was dangerous out there!
