Get used to it! You'll be "giving up" a lot of your "guilty pleasures" but boy is it worth it! You're creating "family memories"; not "me memories"!

You will be taking a lot of seasons off and it will be worth every second. Before you know it you and Emily will be saying to James "how did you get so old".

I know the feeling, I'm not a soccer fan and DD plays. DS plays lacrosse too and not a fan of that. I do like watching DD play softball. Did not like to watch DS play baseball when he was younger boring. LOVE to watch DS play HOCKEY!
Jeff when he gets older and ALL of his friends are playing hockey and he wants to play too...... That's how DD got into soccer.

I'm so glad to hear someone else say that "baseball is boring"! We told our DD's and they've told THEIR DD's they could do/play ANYTHING but baseball, or softball in our case. My sister and her kids live and breathe baseball but the ONLY time I even half-way enjoyed it was watching my Godson played for Rice University...and that was during the playoffs and College World Series. My cousins son plays for a pro team and right now I can't even remember WHO! Shows how interested I am in the sport!

I'm so glad to hear someone else say that "baseball is boring"! We told our DD's and they've told THEIR DD's they could do/play ANYTHING but baseball, or softball in our case. My sister and her kids live and breathe baseball but the ONLY time I even half-way enjoyed it was watching my Godson played for Rice University...and that was during the playoffs and College World Series. My cousins son plays for a pro team and right now I can't even remember WHO! Shows how interested I am in the sport!

It's funny I think baseball is so boring but I really enjoy softball.
