Skating is good tonight.

Our busy weekend...Jr. Olympic Training Team and Redstorm. They beat Oklahoma 3-0 yesterday; took care of Louisiana today 2-1:

Today the little Princess competed in her first gymnastics meet. Her gym brought home the 2nd place trophy:

No matter where I go, I'm reminded of Disney!

...and, since we were in Houston today I decided to take a picture of part of the freeway system. For those of you in the North...this is why we have traffic jams when we have ice & snow. We have no equipment to keep these freeways safe...that equals 195 accidents in one day here!

Your freeways look crazy and a bit scary.

Enjoyed the skating a lot tonight...HOW does that little Russian girl do that final spin? Those freeway pictures are the "little spaghetti bowls"...you ought to see downtown Houston! There's also one on the east side that we have to take to Bush airport. We're not even on the TOP level and the cars look like "tinker toys". Knowing your fear of heights, I don't think you could travel it! I guess that's why the DTD balloon ride is a "piece of cake" for me!

Thanks on the Mama Melrose crop! I hadn't noticed it either...it helps to be on a solo trip and have time to "stop and smell the roses"!
