DH talked to an Iraq veteran today and he said, "You know, I fought a war in the dessert and it was hot...but I believe today (in Texas) is hotter than that dam* desert!" Sure hope it cools off a little before kickoff tonight!

That's NOT the right spot. More thinking to do on this....

...immediately after the 2nd half kickoff half the stadium lights went out! Guess it's "one of those nights" all across the USA!

Labor Day International soccer tournament for REDSTORM. They play a team from Alabama at 7:30 in the morning. Mimi WON'T be there for that one but will make the trip into Katy for the 6 PM game and birthday dinner for DH afterwards. Enjoy your days off...and send US some of your cool weather!
