I figured I'd pop in and give y'all an update about where I've been the last month. First up was graduation! This first picture was taken by my Dad, who's my official life event photographer.

It's always a tradition to decorate your mortarboard, and I chose this because 1. It made me easily visible among the 5,000 something graduates and 2. It's Mickey! and 3. It's lime green, which is my favorite color. I did this in fabric paint. The words along the edge are my initials and HMGT, which was my major

Two weeks later, we headed to Indianapolis for the Indy 500!!!! I actually took about 200 photos, but I'll just share a couple of my favorites.

This one is me talking to and getting the autograph of one my favorite drivers, Ryan Briscoe!

And of course right after graduation, I started my new and first full-time job as a travel agent at AAA!!! I love this job, but it's taking some getting used to, working from 9-6. I'm still adjusting, but it's sooooo worth it! My boss and I had a talk the other day, and she says she hopes to have me booking Disney vacations by the end of the year!

Your Dad did and excellent job on that graduation photo! It's beautiful! I was not even slightly surprised when I saw the Mickey! CUTE! If I'm not mistaken, as members of Disboards, the lime green Mickey identifies us at DW! Keep working hard and your reward COULD be booking Disney trips! That would be my "dream job"!

... and that's always FUN! We live in a small town (pop. around 3,800) and we're the "go to" family for anyone planning a Disney trip. DD has even arranged a few on her own for friends! Last year's trip to the soccer tournament "converted" at least 5 families to "lifetime DW fans!

Congrats on your graduation. Great picture and i love the title of "Official Life Event Photographer". Us dads love doing things like that for our little babies. You will be 60 something and we will be 80 something and you will still be our baby. You would not believe the looks i got from my daughter when i told her that but still got a great big

Like denise i have also been AAA for about 25 years and Goopy is absolutely right about the lime green color for being the official color of DISer's to wear while at Disney.

Congrats too on the job with AAA. You know at some point to do the Disney travel agent job right you are going to have to move to Orlando and hook up with Dreams Unlimited Travel. We all might see you on the podcast team in the future.

Thanks Denise. Spent the day at the softball field. Rain in the morning delayed games so by the time we played our last game it started an hour later. Got home at about 10:00 pm.

It's not Brer Fox and not sure how to answer your next question. It's not "real", as in a meet/greet character but it's not from a poster or picture either so I guess I'd have to answer "no".
