I am not currently in NC, but my SO is ~ thus, I will be none too soon!! He is in Walkertown, and we will more than likely stay in that area or perhaps Lewisville, Kernersville or Mocksville.

I was just there this weekend and hated to come back home.

I'd like to get in on this thread! chellnjr, luvindisneyworld, I am VERY close to all of you right now! Especially luvindisneyworld!!!

We've spent part of the summer just west of the Waynesville area all my life. My grandfather built a 2nd home up here in 1950. My parents now spend 6 months of the year up here, and the other half of the year in Florida.

At the end of the month, we (my family and my sister's family) are purchasing the home right across the street from my parents. WOOHOO! We were actually considering adding on to my parents house, and then found out the older gentleman across the street wanted to move to something without a steep driveway! Most of the homes right around here never go on the market. So, this will make it a lot more comfortable for us to all be up here together. I antcipate spending a lot more time in NC now!

I had the well and furnace inspected today, and the general inspection and septic tank are tomorrow! If all goes well, I'll be a NC property owner by September 1st!

So please let me know if you have any DIS meets!!! I'd love to meet everyone!

YAY, for you on your Purchase.We love it here but we are running into problems trying to find land to build a house,everything that is left is on the side of the mountain.I cannot have that, LOL.We may end up moving away from here to find land that is flat and affordable,the prices around here are ridiculously high.I hate to have to move but you gotta do what you gotta do.
I would live to meet you guys sometime.

We got to meet some really neat Disney lovin people, but we haven't gotten together in a long time
