Where/how do you check for lower room rates?

If I book my on-property room way ahead and want to check for better rates where is the best place to look? Or you you all just keep calling back at the hotel?

Check the website, punch in your dates and codes (aaa,aph,flo) and well

well over a week ago, i booked an october '10 stay for the onsite hotel.

i used the AAA card for the discount.

i count on the Super Saver rates to come out in the beginning of the year for the best deals on the rooms.

When i see the SS are out, i call and modify my room rate to that discount.

that is all you need to do.


many times in the past, they have been promos that come out during the year for deeper discounts for the hotels.

like tricky1 said, check the website for new promos.

be sure to go to the hotel website on the universal site for existing and new promos for discounted stays.

How do you get the AAA rate on the website? I tried selecting "group" with code AAA and it says no rooms for any dates I use.

you need to call the phone number i listed above.
The AAA rates are available by phone.
the dates i put in are for 11 months from now and are obtainable and bookable by calling.

I ended up getting a better rate for HRH directly at the Loews site. It was almost $50 less per night. Really added up...

this is the site many of us have mentioned.
the aaa discount has not been released to that site yet.
a person needs to call to get that discounted rate.
