Where/how do I upgrade?

Hi everyone! It is getting so close, and I realized that in all my planning, I still haven't any idea about when or where to upgrade our passes from 3-Day to AP's. LOL

I have no idea where to go to complete this process. Is it somewhere inside the park, or just outside? Can I do it before entering, and if so, are they open very early(we like to be there at least 1/2 an hour before open)? Does it need to be done on a day when we plan on being in the park, or does it not matter?

Also, does anyone know how long it takes? It will be my DH and two DS's upgrading to the Deluxe, while I upgrade to the Premium. I want to do it as early as possible in the trip, so we get the discounts, but our schedule is so tight, I want to plan when/where so I make sure it gets done!

You upgrade at the Bank on Main Street in DL. They will take your photo there and process your new AP.

Make sure you do it after your MM if you have one, and try to do it early in the day as the lines at the Bank get worse as the day goes on. I found a good time to go is right before the parade. I didn't have any line in Nov going at that time.

As for the amount of time it will take, aside from any line you encounter, they take your name and address info, get your payment, and take a picture right there (each "window" has a digital camera, and the backdrop is right there (seems like a privacy screen of some sort until you realize it's a backdrop)). Not that long of a process.

Just make sure that you don't get your AP's and then have to deal with black out days for the rest of your family. Check the dates and then plan to upgrade accordingly. You can get your AP's on a blackout day and still get into the park, but have to pay a fee to get in additional days that you are there on a blackout date.
