DH is ill, loves Fireworks, but the humidity is going to be a challange. Where is the best place - to eat and view/hear wishes?

I read a post about a resturaunt piping in the music and sound and I understand wishes is best with sound.

thanks.

We always try to get a table by the Ice Cream Parlor on Main Street, outisde under the umbrellas on the walkway that has the smoking area. I love to see Tink fly right over us! Get there early, but also get some food and sit there for the parade (but you won't see the parade) and then the fireworks are right there for you! Also, restrooms are right there behind you. I think that the smoking area becomes a private viewing area, maybe for the dining packages....and that may also be an option for you.
Enjoy!

I enjoyed seeing Wishes for the first time at 'Ohanas and enjoyed it also at CRT.

I watched them from the Polynesian resort beach. Less crowds. You could have a nice dinner at Kona Cafe and then go out to the beach and get some beach chairs and wait for the castle-changing-colors.

I believe if you eat at Narcoosee's at Grand Floridian they pipe in the music but you have to get ressies and ask for it during the fireworks.

You can get to either resort by going to Magic Kingdom and then taking the monorail to the resorts.

Enjoy! Ely

The restaurant you read about was probably the California Grill in the Contemporary. They dim the lights and pipe in the music from Wishes. It is fantastic.

I have seen and heard Wishes from 'Ohana in the Polynesian. It was great, but you have to be there at fireworks time and a window seat is not guaranteed. I'm hoping to have the same great experience in August at California Grill.

FYI, I just got back from 4 days at WL and purchased the CD of WISHES. Played it on the way home!!! DD13 and I cried!!!

Our last 2 trips we've scheduled our 'Ohana PS so we could catch the fireworks. We typically schedule the PS about 45 minutes before they start. They will also dim the lights and pipe in the music. 'Ohana is a great place for Wishes because you are looking straight at the castle and so much happens from the ground around the castle.

You also don't have to be right by a window to see the fireworks from O'Hana because the windows are from floor to ceiling. There are some areas though that you won't be able to see them from but if you are seated on the side where they grill the food you can see them from almost anywhere in that area.

Wouldn't it be nice if (CR, GF, and Poly) offered the music on one of their tv channels. That way if you were to watch Wishes from your room you could hear it too. The music and narration make it so much better. IMHO
