Where exactly is the Plaza?? Fireworks?

Is the Plaza Pavilion literally on Main Street or do you have to go over the Tomorrow Land bridge? They never show it on any of the maps I've seen. I'm trying to plan dinner there and get a seat near it for the fireworks. The Plaza patio seems to be where everyone says to go for the fireworks. Does anyone know if the Plaza gets as crowded as Main Street and if its location is literally on Main Street?

The Plaza Restaurant is located on the right hand side of Main Street if you are facing the Castle from the Train Station, all the way down, just past the ice cream parlor. The Ice cream parlor is in the corner, then you turn that corner, and the plaza is the next entrance on the right.

Does anyone know how early you have to stake your spot?
