I am not a DVC member, dreaming about it, but right now it's out of reach. BUt I wanted to ask, what are all of those other places that they say that you can stay other than at disney resorts? Is there a listing someplace. I need major ammunition for my dh who is still very on the fence.

Go here: http://dvc.disney.go.com/dvc/index

Click on "Other Vacation Experiences" and you can look at the Adventurer Collection, World Passport Collection, and Concierge Collection for non-disney trips.

There is also the Disney Cruise Line under The Disney Collection.

You may want to order the Free DVD from the page too. Has lots of good info.

If you can arrange for a trip down there, it is great to take the tour of Saratoga Springs, or see the other DVC resorts in the WDW area as well. We purchased without taking the tour.......We had been down to WDW MANY times, my parents live 1 1/2 hours from there, and friends told us about DVC. I got the DVD, did research, and we purchased over the phone.....and don't regret it a bit!

How many points would you need to stay at the non-Disney resorts? As an example, I live near Grand Wailea Resort Hotel & Spa which is listed on that website...how many points would be a night there? Thank you for any info.
