Did you let your toddler sleep in the pack and play or in the regular bed at Disney Resorts?

we're going to try a queen bed with bed rails!
should be "very" interesting!
I think we're going to have to practice this before we go next month! LOL!

I would suggest you ask housekeeping for both bed rails & a pack n play.

They when your little one is ready to settle down for the night, s/he can choose.

MOSMOM-That travle bed looks GREAT! Do you need to put sheets on it?
How does it clean up in case of an accident-leaky diaper?

My only concern would be having my daughter get up in the middle of the night and wander around...but I guess that could happen in a normal bed too...

The travel bed is a great product but it can be hit or miss as to whether your child will sleep in it. It does come with a sheet and the mattress is thin foam covered with vinyl. We had one but DD refused to use it. She also wouldn't have anything to do with the pack n play. On our last WDW trip we were at WL and had bunk beds with bed rails which DD loved. The trip before that we ended up going over to WalMart and getting a cheap sleeping bag for her.

It doesn't come with a sheet but it is "flocked" meaning it is soft and you really don't need one. I find it still gets sweaty though without a sheet. You could easily call housekeeping and get a sheet to cover it. As far as accidents go, I would think just soap and water would clean it up just fine. We never had that problem but that flocking over vinyl would clean up just fine.

CED, I think you mean the mat type bed but I had posted the inflatable bed which I think is more comfy and more like a big "bed". It is pretty nifty. :)

I've actually tried to use that inflatable toddler bed and BOTH of my children at that age didn't like it!! Again, it's preference, but neither of them would sleep on it. What I found that works for us is the Ready Beds. They are sleeping bags, with an inflatable mattress underneath. My kids LOVE THESE and both sleep in them. We usually stay in a 1 bedroom villa, and they'll sleep in these on the floor instead on the pull-out. You can find them at Target in the camping section, they only cost around $30. Check them out at www.readybed.com

Last year my then 20 month old slept in their Pack and play. She was still in her crib at home and she had slept in our Pack and play at grandparents and uncle's houses. This year we are going to go with the bed rail and big brother because she is in a big bed at home. I am a bit worried about settling down with big brother! She may end up with me and DS end up with DH.

We have a Wiggles ready bed that she now uses at my brothers. The first two times she ended up with us. Last time she slept all night in it, but it took longer than normal for her to settle down. She loves it though, and I think it will work better as she gets older and more used to sleeping in it.
