Where does the parade come out of?

I'm assuming the Festival of Fantasy parade still starts in Frontierland, but where exactly do the floats come out of? Looking for a decent spot towards the beginning of the parade.

Thanks!

Next to Splash Mountain if it starts in Frontierland.

Yes, it starts at the edge of Frontierland, near where the path comes in from Adventureland. Most of the areas near Frontierland are a great place to watch the parade and are usually a bit less crowded than Main Street or the Hub.

Quick followup, going in the middle of March, will be there on a Saturday afternoon. Think camping out 40-45 minutes before in Frontierland good enough or overdoing it?
We didn't get a good view our last trip and wanted to make it priority on our first day.

Overdoing it by a good 30 min. Even on NYE we could walk up and watch in Frontier Land right at the beginning, like 1 min before.
Remember, they keep several paths open to let traffic cross. When the parade starts, the close them off. I wait near one and when they close it off, walk up to the rope

Yes, this. Frontierland is usually a pretty easy spot to get a space. Some areas do fill in, but there is a lot of room. The shady spots fill in first. If viewing is a priority for you, it certainly couldn't hurt to just hang around the area, maybe grab a snack and soak up some Frontierland atmosphere for a while. It's a great area!

If you're looking for a shady spot get there at least half an hour early. We were there on a hot sunny afternoon and (at least near Country Bear Jamboree) there aren't many front of the crowd shady spots.
