Where do yu get your Disney Gift Cards?

Do you get you Disney gift card at the Disney Store or on line? If you get them online what is the best place?

I see you are in PA, I live in PA too and when I went to Disney last year we got GC at Giant Eagle (not sure if you have one in your area) and we got a free tank of gas at Get Go, because of it. Make sure you have the store card that they can scan.

Every $50 you spend in GC you get 10 cents or 20 cents (depending on what the promotion is at the time) PER GALLON of gas.:cool1:

I am trying to talk DH into letting me start buying them and have him take me on a trip in Oct., but he won't go for it.:confused3

I buy them at my church. They have a table set up after services and there are 50+ different gifts cards available for purchase.

A percentage (it varies by the company) of the purchase price goes to the church.

All the funds collected in this way go to the social outreach progams.

In years past the church has collected $50,000 per year. (The last two years it has been less, because money is so tight for everyone.)

I get them through disneyshopping.com and go through ebates.com to get cash back!

Last week when I was at Sam's Club they had $100 Disney gift cards (valid at the parks, in the store and online) and you got $10 Disney STORE (store or online ONLY) card with purchase.

I did not know you could get cash back buying gift cards through ebates? I use ebates all the time.

Good tip!

I didnt' either. I knew on Sunshine Rewards you didn't get credit for gift card purchases so I assumed you wouldnt' on ebates. I'll try that next time.

I've gotten my last 2 on ebay though and gotten them for a few cents less than their full value (and went through Sunshine Rewards for ebay shopping.

For Christmas I bought my girls gift cards through Walgreens. They are my favorite local place as we have no disney store even close. What I like about Walgreens is they aren't set amounts. Everywhere else, you have to buy set amounts. For example, my Kroger has a 3 pack worth $15 each. I do not want to call my travel agent and ask her to apply $15 at a time to my account...

I just picked one up for my niece on Saturday at Shaws supermarket. They had several cute styles there.

When you get them online through the Disney site, they have a lot of cute designs to choose from - I'm looking to get Mickey w/soccer for DS and Snow White for DD. I've heard you can add money onto them, so I'm planning to buy $25/each for now, and then add $5/mo. till we plan to go in the fall, and then give them to the kids for souvineers. Last trip we used Disney Dollars, but I guess you can't get them anymore :( .

I also get mine through our Scrip program at school. I pay the same amount but school gets a little % back.

I use the Disney store online or disneyland.com to get mine. So many more cute choices like the pp said:thumbsup2

I get them at Giant or Wegmans (grocery stores) or Walgreens.

For those of you on sunshine rewards....if you order through the disney store you get 3% back into your account....does anyone know if this works on giftcards too?? That is a good deal if so!

I get them at Giant (grocery store). Usually I budget $100/week per groceries but I try to really clip my coupons and get everything for much less. Then with the difference I buy the gift cards. Almost every week I get a $25 card, some weeks I can do the $50:thumbsup2 It is good incentive to use those coupons and the gift cards really add up.

The gift card purchases don't typically count towards their Gas rewards, but every now and then they run a special where they do. I always try to buy extra then.
