your pizza from?

We either order from Marcos..which I believe is a chain. OR Rico's which is family owned and another family owned places Anna's.

I swear I had Pizza hut not that long ago and thought it was soooo gross.

Having leftover Marcos tonight actually. ;)

We actually like Pizza Hut & for the price it's hard to beat Little Ceasar's. We also get Hunt Brothers pizza from the local quick mart, and we buy from local places (Phylly's and Aldo's).

Edit: in Florida, we like Hungry Howie's. Had that twice on our Disney trip & twice on a trip to PCB :)

Family-owned pizzerias, always. I don't think I've had chain pizza since college (20+ years.)

A family owned local "chain". Our Pizza Hut closed down and the last time I was in the plaza Dominos was in there was a sign on the door stating it was closed because of back taxes  Guess people around here don't like National chain pizza, we're too close to NYC ;)

Hmmm I'm from Virginia too, but I've never heard of "Marcos".

We live in Western Prince William County, and usually order from a place called "Pizza NY Margarita" in Gainesville.
The only thing I don't like about them--they don't deliver! :(

So when we'd like pizza delivered, we order from a place called "Big Joe's" in Manassas VA. They have a delicious "white pizza with Ricotta."

We get our pizza from a local place called Village Pizza. It's family owned but there are a few other locations owned by other family members. There is a Pizza Hut the next town over but the last time we ate there was not good. We also have a Ramuntos which is pretty good.

There's a mom & pop pizza place a few blocks from the house, that's our usual place. There's also a Papa Murphy's down the street and it usually comes out pretty good.

I'm no fan of chain restaurants, but I will put in a good word for Pizza Hut. A few months ago we ordered some pizzas for lunch for some people doing work at our house. It was not possible to go to the mom & pop place to pick it up, so we ordered from Pizza Hut for delivery. It was surprisingly good. Fresh, hot, tasty, and reasonably priced. It was far superior to what I remembered or expected.

I get ours from a local pizza place- I don't like any of the "fake" pizza places like pizza hut, dominos, Papa Johns etc....there are WAY to many good real pizza places in NY to go to one of the chain stores for pizza!

For make at home, we like Aldi pizza. I buy the pepperoni one (16" for $5.99) then doctor it up with some onion, green pepper, olives or whatever we have here at home. In fact, I have one in the oven right now!

For take-out, it's always Marcos.

ETA: When in Florida, we like Hungry Howie's also.

Yeah sorry this one is in Hampton.

When you are the only one eating it, yes.......

In fact I think I'll go heat some up. :-)

I ordered two larges for dinner and both gone. It was me...my four kids ,....my oldest sons friend and one of the twins friends. SO no leftovers. It always seems to work this way on pizza night:rotfl:

We get pizza from Rocco's or Buona sera. Both local - both molto bene!

You are right about that. I never ate chain pizza growing up. Pizza and wings are the best part about going home.

When we went to Long Island two thanksgivings ago too visit my cousin we got pizza and my son is still talking about how yummy it was.

We either eat in at Mellow Mushroom (yummmmmmmmmmy) or for take-out we get a Pizza at the Costco Snack Bar (already baked)! They will even let you select which toppings you want and it can be on half/the whole pizza! :thumbsup2

Mario's in Winston-Salem if we can. SOOOoooo much like the good stuff back on Long Island. Otherwise we make our own.

If we are lazy and want it delivered, it is Marcos. Only places that deliver to our house are a couple of local Colorado places (who have no concept what real pizza is) Marcos, Blackjack and Dominos. Marcos is definitely the lesser of 3 evils.

If we want real pizza, there is a local hole in the wall (very successful hole in the wall) whose owners are from Italy by way of Brooklyn. Real Brooklyn pizza in the Colorado Rockies. It is heaven and expensive. They don't do coupons or specials, but it is so worth it for somebody that is originally from NYC suburbs.
