Hi All.
Our family is planning our first trip w/ 3 of our children. Our oldest boy (4) is on the spectrum. Where do you stay? I am worried that some places might be too quiet or too noisy?!?! He doesnt have any vocabulary but tends to scream in a high pitch when he wants something. I am afraid of being a noisy "neighbor" in the hotel but I want him to experience a disney hotel.
Please tell me where you stay & if you ever had any problems?!?!

TYSM! :grouphug:

noise level depends on the crowds and location of the room. I see a lot people suggest the cabins at ft wilderness. then his 'noise' wouldn't bother others, you can cook what you want, etc.

However, I stay at the values and have no issues. Never get a room near the main pool, so didn't have major noise issues, and no one seemed to care when my DD was doing her mid-night squeel. :confused3 I think a lot depends on the cost you are willing to pay, and other things like if the visuals of the stuff at the values would overwhelm your child.

We just returned from Pop Century and lucked out in getting a room that basically opened up to the giant keyboard on the ground. My son has always loved letters and numbers so it was an awesome location for us. You might check out the resorts and see if there is something of interest to your son that would make that particular location magical for him. Typically there are so many kids at the values that no one will notice if one screams a little louder than the rest. Just stay away from the food court in the morning - I almost had my own meltdown yesterday! :rotfl2:
