I can't stand it. But I can't decide if I hate it because it is so bad or because I am so sick of hearing it played over and over and over again.

It is in my top 10 least liked Christmas songs, but not even close to how much I hate Christmas Shoes.

Hate it because it's so constantly overplayed. In more moderate doses it's tolerable, but not really enjoyable. Loved most of the Beatles music, love many of McCartney's solo and Wings songs, but because he's so prolific, there has to be a few clunkers. This is one of them.

Not one of my favourites. By the end of the holiday season, it drives me batty. Not only is it overplayed but I am not a fan of repeating lyrics.

Hate it, almost as much as the Barbra Streisand version of Jingle Bells.

I HATE that song... it's like fingernails on a chalkboard.

Hate it. Not a big Beatles fan anyway. Also, not a huge fan of the radio stations playing Christmas music in November. On top of the fact it is too early, IMO, the songs are so overplayed and way too many songs I don't like at all.

When I hear it, I sing along "Simply singing, a crappy Christmas song"

DH loves the Beatles and Paul McCartney but he always turns this one off! lol

I'm still on board, but I'm a big fan. I'm still struggling to understand how their are 7 people who voted in this poll who claim they've never heard it. :)

If we weight bad Christmas songs based on how often they are played, this one is hand's down the worst. There are other bad songs out there, but none of them get as much airplay as this repetitive mess.

I dislike this song a lot.

and here's a spooky thing. I'm listening to the radio as I'm reading here. And just as they started to play this song, I saw this thread. :scared:

I'm a Paul/Beatles fan and I like it. It's simple and repetitive but I think that's the point! It wasn't meant to be a musical masterpiece; it's supposed to just be peppy and cheery to get you in the holiday mood. He expressed a similar sentiment in the lyrics of Silly Love Songs.
