Where do you sign up for the character breakfast onboard?

We did online check-in (silver) for our Alaska cruise and the character breakfast is sold out for the whole cruise. Where do we try to sign up for additional slots onboard? Have any of you been able to add the character breakfast upon boarding? Thanks.

Have you done that yourself?
No, I haven't had to do that as, luckily for me, I have been able to get Character breakfast for the day I want but I have read on other threads that is what they recommend doing.
I hope it works for you :)

We book on the reservation system online but helped someone request tickets at guest services onboard and they were able to grab tickets. Try to be flexible with which ever date may be available
.

Guest services may work, but I would check Port Adventures first. They seem to be the ones with extra meet-and-greet tickets also.

Also, keep checking online, especially after booking opens for first-time cruisers. For my European cruise last summer, I couldn’t get a character breakfast during the Platinum booking period, but a few weeks later spots opened up.

Why would spots open up when it's free and already past PIF? Just wondering.

are you on 6/4? there was a glitch and the breakfast was showing as sold out. It's available for booking now.

The princess and frozen meets are showing sold out too... I was on chat for 2 hours with DCL this am. He kept saying that it was sold out. I asked him to please find a way to see the number of tickets booked ( I know there aren't 2000+ gold platinum and concierge on this early Alaska cruise).....he said that 'You are correct about there being a problem. This cruise date has a hold on it for the character meet and greets as they are working on solving a problem on the ship" He couldn't fix it. but said to keep checking back.
Hope this helps!

Yes! This helps so much! Thank you! After reading your post I checked and was able to book the character breakfast and will keep my eyes open for character meets. I did think the lack of availability of those for silver booking day at midnight was weirdly off. Glad to know it was just a glitch.

We were able to get tickets for the princess and Frozen meet and greet tickets from the Port Adventures desk on embarkation day in September. Check the Navigator before boarding and it will tell you were to get them.

yeah something is off because this "early" Alaska cruise is not packed with Platinum and Golds (like a PC or TA might be) and when the Golds checked in the breakfast times were wide open... yet at midnight on silver check in, they're all sold out... something's wrong. anyway, they now know it's a problem, hopefully it gets fixed soon... otherwise those princesses are going to be lonely in the atrium becuase no one will have tickets
