Can people recommend places for us to eat with a 22 month old that she will enjoy please?

Can be QS, Buffet, Sit down, anything!!

Thanks!

because of the age...I would think the QS at Cosmic Rays at MK would be fun and enjoyable...TS buffet would be any of the ones ..especially CRystal Palace because Pooh Bear, Tigger, Eyeore, and Piglet..would not scare the little one...when we took the grandkids...we opted for Buffets so they didnt have to wait long for food...in and sit and get up and get the food...it worked ..

My youngest was terrified of non-face characters, so if you haven't tested her on those yet, consider a princess meal or 1900 Park Fare where you get a mix for the first one.

Here are some of our favorites we went to w/DS - 21 months:

-Tusker House: Buffet (so no charge for your daughter), good food and character interactions... learned of our son's love for Mickey Waffles (go for a late breakfast, and you will get to sample some of the lunch offerings as they start to come out too).

-Garden Grill: Also good character interactions, and they bring the food to your table (also all you care to eat, so no charge for your child)

-Biergarten: Another buffet/no charge for your daughter. They also have a band that was entertaining for our son, and the kids can go down and dance. A few weeks after we ate there, I asked him at home what he wanted for lunch. He told me "Biergarten!"

So basically, for TS w/our son, I guess we all prefer some type of buffet w/decent food and entertainment.

For QS, we tend to like places that have some outside tables (if it's not too hot) b/c some QS places won't allow strollers inside. It's easier sometimes for us to get settled w/everything w/our son still in the stroller for a few minutes.

There are also some more snack-type places where we've gotten stuff as a meal. We like the waffles/waffle sandwiches from Sleepy Hollow and the pot roast Mac and Cheese from the Friar's Nook, both at the MK.

And don't deprive her of a Mickey Bar! :earsgirl:

Our 15 month old LOVED- Garden Grill, Chef Mickeys, Tusker House and Biergarten (loved to dance w/ the band) and Hollywood and Vine (. For QS we enjoyed BOG and Pinnochio (table watching the Small World boats).

In general, we thought buffets were really good for small children. I liked the amount of choices that were available. Fruit, yogurts, mac and cheese, grilled chicken etc. And because of her age, she'll be free!

I also enjoyed Tangierine Cafe in Epcot for their hummus and pita bread along with the kid meal choices at Columbia Harbor House and Boardwalk Bakery. My kids barely ate a chicken nugget while we were there. Lots of choices!

With kids that young, I don't think they really care where they eat as long as there is food that they like. Pick a place that YOU like that also has food that appeals to her.

We took our twins at 22 months. They enjoyed every place we ate. They are pretty much just happy to be anywhere new, but we dined at Crystal Palace, Tusker House, Be Our Guest (the Beast was a HUGE hit with them), The Plaza, Biergarten (always a huge hit with our kids), Hollywood and Vine, Rose and Crown and Le Cellier that trip.

We took our 13mo at the time to Be Our Guest (lunch & dinner), Ohana, Grand Floridian Cafe, Crystal Palace (breakfast) Via Napoli and Boma (breakfast). All hits!

At that age, my children loved Chef Mickeys (waving napkins was a hit), Crystal Palace, Tusker House, Garden Grill and San Angel (loved watching the boats). For QS they liked Cosmic Rays and Caseys

Above all, this! When our daughter was that age, we dined (early!!) at California Grill, Wolfgang Puck Dining Room (upstairs), and Palio (which is what Il Mulino used to be); and we also dined at Crystal Palace, Garden Grill and various counter service places. I can't honestly say that she enjoyed one restaurant over any of the others from a food standpoint, but her overall enjoyment level was highest at Crystal Palace and Garden Grill.

I think Hollywood & Vine for breakfast was great. Disney Jr. characters and the food really wasn't bad (it was my DH's favorite breakfast buffet). It's bright and they break into song every 10-15 minutes for the kids.

We went when my son was almost 1 and then 19 months. Both times we had auccess with Pooh and friends (CP, Park Fare breakfast). We don't watch Pooh a lot or anything, I guess he just seems gentle? Mickey was also a good one (Tusker House) but he wasn't too fond of the other pals.

Other than that, as long as there was FOOD he was happy!
