I have always just ordered my checks from the bank. Where do you order yours from? Who has the best pricing?

Is it a hassle?

Not looking for fancy designs, just a low price, and a trustworthy company....

Walmart. They're $5 or $6 per box, which is way cheaper than the bank. It's as easy as ordering from the bank, too.

My bank because they are free! :lmao:

Just beware of those deals you see in the flyers in the Sunday paper. Those prices are for first order only and if you happen to forget what company you've used and reorder from them they will cash your check, send your new checks and THEN charge you a ridculous amount for a 'special reorder price'. Over $35.00 for 2 boxes..Yes, this happened to me..I used Bradford last time, next time I'll go with WalMart.

I just ordered from designerchecks.com yesterday- with a code from retailmenot I got 4 boxes of checks(don't remember the pattern,I didn't care) for 22.50 with free shipping....... best deal i could find,I don't care what they look like as long as they work;)

Thanks everyone! I just ordered from Costco. $16.03 for 2 boxes with secure, trackable shipping. My bank wanted almost $19.00 for 1 box.

I don't use checks much at all. With that said, I recently ordered two boxes (they'll probably last 2-3 years! :rotfl:) of duplicate checks for somewhere around $12 from Checks In The Mail. I think CITM used to be Current Checks which was a subsidiary of Deluxe Checks which are sold through the banks. I think one of the other "Sunday coupon pages" check sellers is a sub of Harland? Basically, these companies are on the outlet stores of check printing companies. I've tried a few different ones and never had any issues with their clearing through my bank.

As someone had mentioned, those first time customer rates are only good for your first order but it's per account, not per person. I've changed banks, I've closed and opened new checking accounts within the same bank, and I even had an account number change due to a merger - in each case I've used the same check companies each time I had a new account number and I've always gotten the first time rate.

Check those offers - usually you can get a choice of lettering style plus shipping and handling plus address labels for FREE!

In the past I've ordered from Checks In The Mail and Checks Unlimited over 10-15 yrs ago and then from Costco. Now I get mine free from my bank. Never had a problem with any of the above check companies though.

Not a fan of Wal-mart stores, but I do order my checks from them. Fast and accurate, and good prices too.

Just a word of caution, I learned the hard way to always check a company's BBB report before ordering with them. We had a REALLY bad experiance with a company ordering checks a while back, after the fact when I finally complained to the BBB I discovered that they had a bad rating and lots of problems, had I thought to check first I would had never ordered with them. Just my 2 cents.
