Where do you like to eat on the day you are leaving?

We don't do TS on departure day. Too much to do already. One of the guidebooks says your last day is a good day to do a character breakfast. It's hard enough for us to make it to a character breakfast any day, and I can't imagine packing up and checking out beforehand.

This is our first trip, but our Bon Voyage Meal is going to be an early lunch as Whispering Canyon... gives us enough time to take the morning fairly slow, load the car/checkout, then fill our bellies before either 1) taking on a park for the rest of the day, or 2) hittin' the road. Not sure which path we'll take, but I'm looking forward to that meal. :)

since I always get LOS tickets, we spend the last morning in a park, eat lunch and get the ME bus at 2:30. We eat a big lunch since our flight is at 5:30 and we get a snack for supper at the airport.

We've eaten that last meal at a variety of places depending on which park we will be at:
Le Cellier
Brown Derby
Sci Fi Drivein
Big River Grill at BW

When we do TS we get the first seating, so we can have a liesurely meal and still make the ME time.

typically, we visit MK for one last time & enjoy lunch @ CP

if i had to catch ME around 2 pm, i'd skip TS entirely & just do a CS; which allows a signature TS using the DP one night.

our last TS meal is always themed............. 50's Primetime or Sci Fi Dine in Theatre which is this years choice....its bittersweet we leave on a fun note........but.........its all over for another year.

Cape May for breakfast is starting to look like our regular last meal of the trip. We stay at the BC. After packing we have a nice long meal and then head to the car. No rushing about and the meal is more like brunch which means one less meal on the road, just an early dinner.

Our family tradition has been the same on all but our first trips (on that one we went on our first day.) Anyway, we always book a late breakfast at Chef Mickey. We don't have to rush getting packed, then we head to our breakfast and fill up so we don't have to eat for a while on our long drive home. It is something we can look forward to during our whole trip and meaes leaving a little less hard cause we get to go out with a bang. The best part is by then the place is pretty empty and we get a lot of time with the characters. Works for us. I can't see us ever changing that tradition.

We always try to get a late flight home so that we can make the most of the last day. That being said, we really don't have a tradition for our last meals. We've enjoyed grazing at the Food & Wine Festival and going to Epcot. We have also visited a park and, if we're staying at SSR, then come back for a nice, late lunch and cocktail at the Turf Club on the patio. The nice thing about that is that it doesn't require an ADR. We've never had a problem getting a table at that time.

We always do Ohana before we go. Love to see the castle and Mickey just one more time.

Since we usually leave in the early afternoon, we like to sleep in a little later and do a huge breakfast at Kona cafe before saying goodbye to MK. :)

I usually just grab something at DTD but on my January trip I am thinking about doing breakfast at Fresh in the Dolphin on get away day.

1) Count me as contra.
2) We tend to eat VERY lightly when traveling.
3) For an afternoon flight, we
. . . eat a small-to-medium sized breakfast, with only a few carbs
. . . eat a light lunch, maybe fruit
. . . eat a slight snack at the airport

NOTE: With over 80,000 a year in air miles, I try to go on-board with a light stomach.

Last time we went to the Poly for Ohana breakfast and really enjoyed it. I'm trying to decide between that or trying Chef Mickeys for the next trip.

hey........stick to the numbers.........i got dibbs on the periods........:rotfl2:

I am usually a wreck on our last day -- I get so sad to leave! CM is such a bright, fun, happy TS that it takes a little bit of the sting out ;) My kids adore it and it's nice to get a chance to say "thanks!" to the Fab 5!

Our very last ADR at the end of our trip is for lunch at The Plaza at the MK. We usually go to the beach after Disney or we have a 4 p.m. flight, so we have lunch around 11:30 or so. After all the heavy meals we've eaten during our stay at Disney, we prefer this lighter lunch (and the desserts are heavenly).

We usually do breakfast at our resort (Pop Century). Hit Downtown Disney for a little last minute shopping and then grab a to go lunch at Earl of Sandwich.

I sometimes have a late breakfast (around 10:45 or so) at Kona.

At WL, I'd consider either a late breakfast or early lunch at Whispering Canyon. We had lunch there on our departure day, and it was a great ending.
