surferrat's I mean? I am going to WDW at Christmas and was wondering what are my VMK buddies favorite restaurants. And while I prefer the pizza from surf's new pizza oven, I don't think my family would appreciate it as much.

My favorite table service restaurants at WDW are Biergarten, Ohana's, Crystal Palace, Boma's, Cape May Cafe, and Beaches and Cream.

My favorite counter service restaurants at WDW are Pecos Bills, Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe, Columbia Harbour House, Cantina de San Angel, Lotus Blossom Cafe, ABC Comissary, and Tusker House.

The DIS has a restaurant board, here's the link:

If you have a car, we like these off site places to eat too:

Crossroads has a Red Lobster, Mc Donalds, taco bell, TGI Fridays and more

There is a Cici's pizza just down the road from Crossroads, it's right behind the Olive Garden on 535. (All you can eat pizza, pasta and salad for $3.99)

There is a Sweet Tomatoes Restaurant near Belz Factory Outlet.

The top of our list has to be Boma. Great food and the variety is amazing. We also enjoyed Whispering Canyon, Biergarten,Coral Reef (lunch) and Rose and Crown.

Cindy (Coriander)

I have to add that the character breakfast at 1900 Park Fare was a lot of fun (and we were all adults.)

aww thank you Red.. :goodvibes

For me I like the restuarant at the Wilderness Lodge...they have a "gnarley" cedar plank slamon...and also the Libery Tavern!!!

If you click on the link below, in my signature, you'll be taken to my "family vacations" web site. I have a lot of pictures of the restaurants, and the food, on there :) The restaurant pictures are located in 2 places; the "Restaurants 2005" page, and then scroll down to our May 2001 trip to find the other Disney restaurants links.

Some of our favorites are the Kona Cafe, 50's Prime Time, and dinner at the Castle (Cinderella's Royal Table). princess:

For a late lunch we like to go to the Norway restaurant in World Showcase/Epcot. All you can eat sit down buffet and entree. You can even try multiple entrees! You will not go away hungry! Uffda!

Another vote for the Wilderness Lodge restaurant -- it's Artist Point.

They also do an incredible "buffalo steak." And a mushroom soup that had me licking the bowl clean. And desserts to die for. And...

dang, now i'm hungry

curse you, curse you all!

Be...Please don't like the bowl in public...It is bad enough we can not beat the girls in the last word....We get you back to the boys side and now you are licking bowls in public... :rotfl:

My fave places to eat at WDW:

MK: Casey's, for a yummy hot dog and french fries.

Epcot:
China, for takeout vegetarian lo mein. Nummy!
Canada, for terrific steak...

Studios: 50's Prime Time, when I'm with a group - fun!

DAK: Tusker House is good.

Resorts:
Animal Kingdom Lodge: Boma if I'm hungry, Jiko if I'm classy.
Poly: Ohana, especially with a big group! (Haven't tried new menu yet.) Kona Cafe is really good for small groups.
Wilderness Lodge: Whispering Canyon, especially with kids.

Downtown Disney: Earl of Sandwich.

And, keep in mind, Epcot Food & Wine starts Friday and runs for the next six weeks... :-9
