We have always had a stroller with us to carry our "stuff" (along with my mother, who watched our things when we rode the "big rides"). This year we are trying to go without the stroller, and just carry a small bag of necessities. Sooooo, what do you do with your bag for the rides. I know that some of rides you can take your bag with you. But what about the ones you can't? Is it safe to leave your bag (with camera and camcorder)?:confused3

This past march we had a messenger bag, full of the normal necessities. We took it on every ride. Including the rockin roller coaster. I was a little nervous about that one but it worked out without any issues. As long as your bag isn't too big you should be fine on almost any ride. Enjoy your trip.

You should be ok. We've always taken our bag on with and we've been ok. Last year my brother even had a regular sized back pack and he was ok with it. For rides like rock n' rollar coaster we would put the straps around one of our legs and then held the rest of the bag squeezed in between our legs. Seemed to work ok anytime we've done it. :)

We always have a BIG backpack with us....DH must have been a packmule in another life!:rotfl2: We've taken it on every ride without problem. He has always been able to fit in near his feet. He usually wraps the straps around his wrist, just in case, but he's never even come close to losing it. Oh--and the rides that you cannot put the bag at your feet all have a compartment or mesh bag under the seat for you to store your things. No worries!!!

Take your bag with you. Where you get off the rides is not where you enter the rides. We have never had a problem with a bag on a ride.

There is not one ride @ Disney that you are not allowed to bring a bag on, unlike some of the neighboring parks. Never, Never, NEVER leave your bag unattended with or even without valuables inside - K9 unit will be called.

I look so stupid with a fanny pack but I wouldn't be without one on vacation. We all carry a small pack pack to spread the load and try to keep it to a minimun. Ponco, water, snack are a must. We get a locker at Animal Kingdom, too hot, too big and sometimes you need to change after Kali.

We use a regular sized backpack each year and we always take it on every ride with us and it's never been a problem.

Before we had our DS we would carry a regular sized backpack. That would hold our cameras, drinks, snacks, etc. Now that we have a stroller with us, we pack 2 bags. One that we take on the rides with us and the other is just diapers and wipes in a simple bag we aren't afraid to leave behind. But since you don't have the stroller option this time around don't worry about getting them on rides. Just loop one of the straps under your foot so you won't forget it. As far as leaving a bag behind and having the K9 come, we've seen them once. But it was for a bag that was sitting unattended in the middle of a bench. I don't think you plan on doing that! :rotfl:

You also may want to put a few ziplocs in your bag. Taking your bag on every ride means that it will have the chance of being soaked on the water rides. You can slip your camera into the ziplocs before you get on a water ride.
