your hotel key when swimming at the pool? I never know what to do with ours and was wondering how others handle it?

I used to take the bottom off the refillable mug and put the key in there.

I put it in my shoe...deep in the toe

no body will look for it there

My suit has pockets. I put it in one of the carriers you can purchase at the waterparks to keep things dry and put it in my pocket. The pocket zips closed.

Tote bag with the rest of our stuff. Your room keys don't have your room number on it so it really isn't a big deal if they're lost or stolen. The front desk is always more than happy to print out new keys is anything happens to them. No big deal.

We have a waterproof carrier that we can put it in OR dh puts it in his swimsuit pocket.

Usually wrap it up in my coverup, then cover that with my towel, and put my shoes on top.

Deep in the toe of my shoe also. I also rap the shoe in a towel, put the towel under a chair, and put things around it like suntan lotion bottles. I've had things like that swiped before while swimming and let me tell you I was livid. Fortunatly I caught the lovely person trying to swipe my hotel key before and the hotel I was at dealt with them, but put things around where your key is that would make it a bit noisy for thenm to have to get to it. Its easy to walk by and grab a tote bag unnoticed , but a bit harder to sit down on the ground, move suntanlotion bottles other shoes, etc. without being noticed.

The first night at the Poly we went to the pool, I wore the flip flops, so no shoes, and we got the towels from the pool, so I wrapped it up, and went swimming, I came back, and my towel and key were GONE!!

I quickly realized my key had charging priveleges, so I went quickly to the front desk, only to have to stand in line....

The 2 teenage girls in front of me went up to the desk and said, "we found this key at the pool" and it was my key... (and no charges had been put on it!)

From then on I used the silly thing I got from Walmart to put around my neck with the key in it! I felt very lucky tho!!

In one of DH's shoes...ewww! usually with towels on top and the clothes we had on over our swimsuits.

I usually take a book to the pool and stick it between the pages......
