Where do you get summer clothes in the fall

We are cruising in December, I am sure that by the end of the summer my kids summer clothes and suits will be well worn----but to purchase summer clothing at the end of summer they are always so picked over. Where do you purchase summer clothing in the off season????

Is there a reason you can't buy summer clothes NOW, in larger sizes if necessary? I buy my kids clothes at the end of the season when they are on clearance, and they wear them the following year.

I buy them online...mainly from penneys- I never ever wear long sleeve shirts, even if its 2 degrees out so I buy short sleeve shirts all winter long from the jc penneys summer catalog.

purchasing clothes for DS in advance my not be such an issue, but for DD who is a teenager and still changing if you know what I mean, will be more difficult. By the time school starts they have really gotten about all they can out of their summer clothes. I was wondering if there was an online store that had summer clothing year around--I.e. does old navy?? or any other stores.

Last October, I struggled with the same dilemma. Tops were not a problem, most stores seemed to still carry short sleeve tops. Shorts were difficult. I ended up finding some in Target (not on a clearance rack) and some in Lands End. I tried the other online stores but nothing by October. This year I am going to try to buy near the end of summer and hope for the best.

Paradise Found and Fresh Produce are brands that I have been buying for years, all year round. They have great classic clothes that I feel are perfect for crusing!!

And at good prices!!!!! Stopped at walmart on my way home to develope pictures from underwater camera and they had disney shirts for $5, and there were cute!!

Yeah this would be a great way to get some good clothes for the cruise. All the Walmart stores in that area have REALLy good Disney sections!

I know it has already been mentioned, but Lands End is a great option. You can buy shorts, swimsuits, short sleeved shirts, year round at Lands End. They have quality clothing that lasts. And, if you are unsure about a size, you can order both sizes and return the one that doesn't fit to your local Sears store.

With LE you can buy matching shirts for the family. DH and ds6 have polos for dinner while I have a more feminine shirt in the same color.

1) Dillard's on the weekend during the end of season sales. Usually the stuff is already at 30-50% off (I wait for 50%) and when they hit 50-75% usually on the weekends (here anyway) they take another 25% off the clearance price.

4) buy in FL upon arrival, always an adventure to discover a new TJ Maxx when traveling

Kohls, JC Penny, Dillard's, Macys, Famous Barr, TArget, all have great bargains when the kids have gone back to school.
