Where do you eat your first night at WDW?

The past 3 times we usually get to the hotel about 7pm (after being awake and travelling for around 17 hours) so we tend to get a CS at the resort and then unwind for a bit! As long as it's a bacon cheeseburger I don't mind :rotfl:

Our only dining 'tradition' is Boma breakfast on the first morning

We usually go for the restaurant at the resort we are staying at. Go get our groceries, get a good meal at the resort, & then rest up for the next day's adventures!

Have fun!
:goodvibes

For years it would be Le Cellier. Then the past three visits we did Teppan Edo for our first night. For our upcoming trip in May, we are going to change it up, and do Tutto Italia for our first night's dinner. Time to mix it up. :woohoo:

We love Raglan Road for our first day. Their food is amazing and they have a great beer selection.

My girlfriend and I have gone to the Biergarten first every time that we have been there so far. It's become hard to break the habit hehe... It is such a fun atmosphere to start the vacation and the food is wonderful!

On our last trip we started with 'Ohana because we were staying at the Poly. This trip we're doing the same but staying over at BLT. Our kids had so much fun there and the food was really good. We love the Poly and felt like we needed to start our trip with a visit here. I am so looking forward to the bread pudding I don't know if I'll last another 3 months! It doesn't help that I'm ready for breakfast!

We always eat at Sci-fi. I know the food is ok, but dh and the kids say we have to eat here our first day.

Last year was the first trip where I was really able to plan ahead --- make ADR's
On prior trips we usually ate fast food/quick service the entire trip.
This time though...our first night we went to Wilderness Canyon Cafe, wanted something that would be memorable for the kids first taste of Disney (wasn't so much actually) but not character as we were doing Cinderella's Royal Table the next day for dinner. We ended though with Chef Mickeys on our last morning which was a nice way to end the trip with the views from the resort.

Arrival time will ultimately dictate your choice, but we always go to 1900 Park Fare our first night. For our upcoming trip I will need to work a full day and take an evening flight which won't get us in to MCO until about 9:00 so 1900 Park Fare will wait until dinner of our first full day.

We plan our first meal around what park we'll be at and what time we'll be arriving. First trip, it was 50's Prime Time, last trip it was CRT..I tried to get in again this trip for our first night, but was unable...so we will be eating at either Tony's or 1900 Park Fare. Still undecided! LOL

This year we will be DVC members for the first time at BLT. My hubby's favorite is Ohana's, so that is where we will be!!!

:)

We normally hit either:

1. ESPN Club- for the Nachos
2. Earl of Sandwich
3. Wolfgang Puck Express

Good luck!

If we have any time beyond a half day, I must see MK, so that is where we eat. We are eating dinner at Crystal Palace this time.

But our first Disney meal will technically be in the Riverside food court, I'm sure.

We like to eat at Chef Mickey's on the day we arrive.

With two young daughters who can't wait to see the characters, it is a GREAT way for us to satisfy that need so we don't have to spend time in the parks waiting on long lines and searching for Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofie and Pluto.
