Hi it's 1st time for our family and we r staying at Dlh but don't arrive till 2pm so not sure on food situation prob have lunch on train but where should we eat 1st night (we will need to eat 6pm and it is a Sunday) thanks

Usually Annettes but we weren't impressed last time so hopefully Toad Hall this trip, depends on what time it closes.

Sent from my DISBoards app

We always eat at our hotel on the first night, although we take things easier than most and don't rush off the Eurostar straight into the parks, we just get checked in and unpack and it gives us a small bit of time to pop to City Hall and sort out my sons disability card before heading back for dinner.

Same here, i find it easier to make no set plans for the first day and just plan to eat at the hotel what ever time we arrive back there.

We will probably go to a Counter Service restuarant (whichever is open!) when we arrive for a late lunch and then go out into the village around 8ish to get dinner there before heading back into the parks for dreams and fireworks!

DD would like to Rainforest Cafe... but that will depend on the queues!

Not sure if all of us will be seeing dreams 1st night as its 10pm and my 11 month & 2 year old will b snoring their little heads off by then. Hopefully my 8 & 13 year old will come back with me whist dad stays will little ones. Can't wait to see dreams I no in gonna cry x

That's what Dad's are good for! :rotfl:

I cry everytime I watch dreams... it's a given now! It's just so beautifully done! :lovestruc

First thing I will do when I arrive in the afternoon is head to Casey's Corner - I absolutely love love love their hotdogs! I look forward to going back to DLP for them :rotfl2:

On the first evening, I will head to the blue lagoon for a sit down meal.

Flight times mean we tend to arrive early evening, my personal preference is to check in to our hotel and then leg it to Disney Village for a dinner date with my favourite Mouse. Have learnt from previous experience (cancelled flight) to just make a reservation and not pay up front though ! :goodvibes

We are planning Annettes this time, as by time we get there it will be 1 hour before park closing and don't fancy trying to get through mass amount of people when I'm hungry

On our recent trip with our 2 year old we ate at Cafe Mickey on the first night so he could get used to the characters before meeting them in the park. Although the food was average the character interaction was great

another cafe mickey 1st nighter here too, I always think if charcater greets are busy in the parks at least kids have seen Mickey & CO xx

I've just phoned and booked for cafe mickey for our first night, which is also a Sunday, booked for 6.15, as will have quite a bit of time between parade and dreams on the Sunday night :)
