Where do you buy your shorts?? (Plus size)

I am looking for the best place to buy shorts. They need to come down to the knee, as I am a size 24 and would not feel comfortable in "short-shorts" (And it would not be a pretty sight either ) Anyway, we have a Cato here, and a Lane Bryant in a town about an hour away. Is there somewhere that I am overlooking that sells comfortable plus size shorts?? I am doing some pre-disney shopping for our upcoming trip!

I'm a size 24/26 too and I have given up on shorts (in public anyway) BUT I am perfectly happy during warmer weather in capris...I think I found my last pair on clearance at either Catherine's, Lane Bryant, or Walmart as those are generally the only places I shop. Roamans.com and onestopplus.com both have some pretty nice denim capris in their collections, you might want to try those...I know they have some shorts in their selections too but I just personally wouldn't go there. But you might want to look if that's your preference. Good luck!

I'm with you -- I like knee length! I've had a lot of luck at Fashion Bug and Walmart. They weren't bermuda shorts, but had pockets on the sides and are nice and roomy. I've also seen some denim ones at Walmart too.

I like the Chic brand with elastic waist. They come in denim and cotton and I find them at any VF Outlet - they may have them other places but they are nice and comfy too

Kohls has a decent plus dept. A couple of summers ago I bought some Levi bermuda shorts, they were snug to the knee - love love love them.

Thanks everybody! We do have a fashion bug about an hour away, as well as a Catherine's. I always forget about fashion bug, and I didn't know what type of store Catherine's was! You all have given me lots of places to check out! I really appreciate it. I was shocked at how well I liked the knee length shorts when I tried them on last week, as I thought shorts period were out of the question at my size. I love capris too, but actually liked the long shorts a little better.
