Where do you buy those water bottle holder things?

I'm trying to locate a water bottle strap thing - it's basically just a long strap and you use a regular Dasani or any other type of water bottle - I'm assuming it goes around the neck of the bottle so you can carry it - where do you get those? (and what are they called so I can search for them?)

Thanks!
Carol

We got ours from WDW. They are more expensive, but I loved them and thought they were worth the extra $. I think they were like $3.00. I saw them last year at one of the Dollar Stores but they weren't nearly as nice. I guess they are called water bottle straps. ???

I've found them before at Wal-Mart, up near the front registers.

GReat - those were helpful! I hate bringing a big old refillable bottle that we can't throw away when we get tired of carrying it -

This visit will be different - LOL - when we went in 2003, we had a 6 and 3 year old and we used a stroller to tote around all our snacks and water - we went the week of July 4th last time too - and man - did we drink lots of water! (we bought a 24 pack from home and halfway thru the week, did a quick grocery stop and bought another pack - we had some sodas, but we aren't big on toting cokes thru the park - too heavy and just not really refreshing when you are hot and dying of thirst) I wasn't brave enough to drink Disney water although I'm intrigued by those water filter things - I need to find out about those too - anyone know about those? LOL

I usually bring my Brita bottle with me for use in the room and at the parks. It has a filter in the top that works great. I've found them in the past at Walmart, KMart (don't know if they carry them anymore), but some people have found them online.

HTH!!! :teeth:

We bought ours at WDW. I have one from Animal Kingdom and one from the Magic Kingdom. We love them!

They have directions to make your own at Familyfun.com , it was a Xmas gift idea I believe.
They were in the most recent Oriental Trading catalog.

What do the Disney ones look like? All the ones I find online are promotional type things - that you buy in bulk and get a company's name or logo on them - I'm not interested in 500 - LOL!
Here's what they look like - I'm even wondering if they can just be made - I wonder if you can get that strap stuff at a fabric store and the O ring at any hardware store? Hmmm...

I found insulated water bottle holders attached to a waistpack at Target a couple of weeks ago. There were some on clearance both single bottles and some waistpacks with double bottle holders. Both styles were about $8.

There are different styles in each of the 4 WDW parks. They are abut $3 (one of the least expensive souveniers available in WDW)!

We also bought one that was designed to carry the water bottle in an insulating holder on a strap, instead of just going around the neck of the bottle, at Mission Space for around $8-10.

You can get 12 of them on www.Orientaltrading.com for $4.95

They are great, I have ordered more for our family cruise this November.

We found the ones with the carrier and the strap and it's own bottle at Wal-Mart (camping/sports section) for $3.88 each.

When I went to Israel I got an insulated water bottle holder that had a snap clip to clip it to my backpack or belt (or a fanny pack). I loved it because I didn't have to remove my backpack for water and the water stayed very cold for a long time even in the hot sun.
