At the port, after the cruise, where do the limos/towncars pick you up? Do they pull right up to the drop off area, or do you have to shelp your bags over to a distant location?
For my cruise in Feb, it would be the same price for a rental car/parking, etc, as going the towncar route. I'm looking at the pros and cons of each.
Since I am doing a night at WDW before the cruise and 1 night/2 days after the cruise, should I book two seperate trips?...........example.... roundtrip MCO/WDW
and then ....round trip WDW/Port Canaveral ??

The towncars/limos pickup in the lot directly accross the street from DCL's terminal. It didn't seem far to me, but then again a porter took all of our bags over there for us.

Other than taking the buses that are right there next to the terminal, I'm not sure the distance gets any shorter than that. I'm not sure of that however sine we just got the porter and went on over to our awaiting Tiffany Towncar van.

Here's what we did this last Saturday. As we entered the luggage area, we asked one of the porters to help us. He was very helpful in finding our 4 suitcases (one had wandered off a bit). We told him we were using Happy Limo. He took our bags to the Delta Airlines line to check baggage and get our boarding passes. This is right in front of the buses. He left them right where they needed to be to check them with Delta and we of course gave him a tip. After that we walked on the other side of the terminal and crossed the street to a white tent where all of the limos and rental cars are. It was very easy! The couple we road with had their luggage with them because their airline didn't have a check in counter at the Port, so it works either way.

When we booked with Happy Limo it ended up being two reservation numbers, but we were quoted a round trip price. I think if you just tell them each leg of your trip, they'll price it out for you.

We use Happy Limo too and are picked up in the tent area across the street. Ever since 9/11, that is the shuttle and towncar/limo pick-up area. It's not a far walk at all, and if you get there early, you can wait in the shade. There is usually an attendant with a clipboard who will make a note of your name and the company you are using so they can make sure you find your vehicle. We usually bring our luggage ourselves, but the porters will bring it across the street for you if you want. Be sure to tip extra for that, as the longer walk means they have less time to go back and get other people.
