Hi Y'all,
Just did an October Disney Cruise and want to really bad plan our next. What reward programs do you suggest? I'm new and naive so please help. I knew I could turn to y'all because it was your info on the boards that made our first cruise a success.
Thanks,

Okay, we'll let you in on the secrets but only if you promise to tell us all the wonderful details of your cruise.

First off, read the thread at the top af the page titled Reward Program How to (2002) and tips.
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=175417

Then create a hotmail email address by going to hotmail.com. You will get a lot of junk email from rewards programs and it is easier to keep it away from you regular private email.

Choose one or two programs to start with. I happen to like CreationsRewards.net and MyPoints.com. Both are pretty reliable and have consistent customer service. I usually get my rewards from those site very promptly. You can always do more programs after you become more used to the way things run.

Set up a regular time for when you do these programs and make them a part of your daily routine. I get up a little earlier in the morning than the kids and do about 1/2 hour of rewards before the school rush starts. I save my weekly clicks for the weekend when everyone sleeps in.

If you shop online, remember to check sdrawer.com to see which rewards programs offer points or rebates for shopping thru their sites. If you prefer B&M stores, consider purchasing GCs online for those stores and get rewarded thru programs that give points for giftcertificates.com, giveanything.com or for purchasing GCs thru the online version of the store where you want to shop.

Those are just a few suggestions. Let us know how the cruise went and maybe we'll offer some more.;)

I would set up two hotmail accts.

Besides Reward programs join a few survey programs as well although not as regular as rewards they do pay well. And if you get picked for a focus group all the better.

Good Luck and Happy rewarding!

I knew you guys would let me in on a few secrets. First the cruise was "WONDER"ful. We are planning our 2nd one for next October. I would highly recommend it to everyone. We did the parks after the cruise and I must admit the parks were challenging after the atmosphere and the food, etc on the cruise. It seemed like everything was so expensive. A coke was 3.25.
So we are planning just a cruise this time. The kids got to mingle with all the characters on the ship and they even visited during meals.
Go if you can. If you think you cannot.....really it is cheap for all you get. Room, Food, Entertainment, "Baby Sitters", Pools, Movies.
I can't wait to go back.

Thanks for the info on cruising it is something we have never done but want to do.

Good luck with your rewards
